:cool1: We had a great trip to OKW in a GV from April 30 until May 7. We arrived with mutiple "WELCOME HOMES" each and everytime. My adult children flew in around 9 AM and got in our GV. We were in 6322. It is a handicapped GV in the elevator building. We really like being close to the front so this was great. The weather wasn't that good but it was cooler so we didn't really mind it. It rained several times but it didn't stop anything planned. We went to MGM and MK on Monday and it was rather crowded for this time of year. At MK we sat for hours waiting for the nightly parade and the fireworks. We wanted the best seats for it and I can say, we got them. You can sit on the seating just behind Walt facing the castle. It is so much better than sitting on the ground. The fireworks were beautiful and the parade was good.
On Tuesday we went to Seaworld. It was our first time and we loved it. The weather was nice and sunny most of the time. I got a stomach bug and had to leave early but I got to see Shamu. We found out you could get a free day. As you go into the park you have your picture made and you can return for a free day in the next 7. My family went the next day and made all the rounds and ate with Shamu. They had a great time.
We shopped on Thursday and made the malls. We wanted to stay away from the busy park stuff. The fireworks went on forever on Thursday night from Epcot. The press must have had a great show.
On Friday we went to Epcot. It was even more crowded so we just walked around and enjoyed the sights. My kids went to Disney Quest. They spend the whole day there. They are all adults and I can see them playing just like kids. I am sure they enjoyed it more than a park.
We enjoyed our food while there. We ate at Primetime in MGM on Monday and the food was good. While we were eating our wheelchair from OKW was taken by mistake. The manager at Primetime got us another one and ours was returned to OKW. We didn't have it locked to a fence and I learned my lesson. We signed for it and had it not been returned we would have had to pay over 300 dollars. Thank goodness it was. The manager was wonderful and so helpful. She was very quick to help us and made our problem much easier. The kids ate at Rainforest and enjoyed it as always. We ate at the food court in The Land. It has foods from other countries. It didn't have what we really like but it was nice and very busy. The Land has the new ride so the whole area is very crowded now. We ate at several off property places.
We loved our trip HOME and look forward to next year already. I think we will try the less parks and more free time. It was much quieter and less hectic. We usually go to the parks most of the time and are very tired when we get home. I think I liked this trip better. Over all it couldn't have been better except for my stomach virus.
We hope you all have magical trips to WDW and DVC this years. We surely did!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Good trip report! Sorry you got sick, but that happens all too often on vacation.

Thanks for the report ! Sorry you got sick and very glad your wheelchair was returned (pixie dust working there !)
We did the Shamu dinner at SW in 9/02 and had a great time. We were lucky enough to get a table right in front of the tank.
The Land area is probably gonna be crowded for awhile with that new Soarin' Over CA ride. I can't wait to try it in August !
Glad you had a magical trip !

Good trip report. Glad you had a nice time, sorry to hear that you got sick. :sunny:

Sorry to hear about your wheelchair. Just a "heads up" on locking them to WDW property. It is a big "no no", but I get a cable lock and run it thru the two back wheels of my stroller. That way it is not locked to WDW property, but is a real pain to push. It makes me feel much better, anyway!!
