Hi all. We are staying at OKW in 3 days in a studio! We stayed in a 1 BR at OKW in Oct and the building had an elevator and there was two ways into the bathroom. I did not realize that all the buildings were not like this. We got lucky and didn't even know it! :woohoo:

Is there a map somewhere that shows which buildings have elevators? Are all the studios the same? I can't imagine Disney building a 3 story building without an elevator!

Elevator buildings are 62, 63, 64. The 1 bedrooms and larger with the second master bedroom entrance are buildings 30 and higher. There are several 3 story buildings with no elevators, they were built in the early 90's before more strict ADA requirements. Studios are all the same.

WebmasterDoc has a thread with the building configurations:

Most studios are on the first or second floor. There are only 4 non-elevator buildings with studios on the third floor.

Do you know if its possible to request 62, 63, or 64 with a "near Hospitality House view category?

Buildings 62, 63 and 64 are not considered "near Hospitality House", I don't believe.

I just got a new passporter for Valentines Day! :) I checked the OKW info and it says "Buildings 62 - 64 are the newest - they opened in early 2000. These are also the only buildings that have elevators"

Is that true? It seems from your info that this is not true.

Yes, it is true, only buildings 62, 63 and 64 have elevators. They are the newest buildin, build after the original sales center (Commodore House) was closed and relocated to the BWV. The rest of OKW had been completed and open for some time.

That is true. Buildings 62, 63, 64 replaced the old sales center and were built around 2000. The rest of the buildings were built in the early 90's.

The "near HH" category buildings are 11 to 14 and 23 to 26.
