wow.. I am seriously being convinced into going to OKW in May with my family... thanks for all the info...

What park is OKW closest to?

OKW is physically closest to Epcot, but you won't be able to walk to any Theme Parks.

Epcot and DHS are a 10 minute bus ride, MK is anout 16 minutes and AK is about 18 minutes.

You can also take a boat to DD - 20 minutes or a bus ride - 10 minutes - or walk - 25 minutes (it's 0.93 miles).

What park is OKW closest to?

You can go from your villa to anywhere at WDW in less than 30 minutes using Disney transportation about 90% of the time. That's close enough for me. We love OKW.

We are new owners to SSR, during our stay in March we had to do a split stay because of availability issues. The second portion of our stay was at OKW.
We had a two bedroom villa at each resort. We enjoyed OKW more than SSR, so much so when we return in December we are staying at OKW. My 16 yo daughter even prefered OKW to SSR.
As far as the bus service, both provided good service with limited wait times.

Sure, you could use the ice machine down the hall, but it's ... down the hall.
