OKW Grand Villa - June

Anyone think there would be a possibility of getting a Grand Villa for mid June 2005 using a 7mth window? We have points at BWV & VWL but are planning on a large group so will need mulitple units. I'm thinking it would be nice to have a Grand Villa for the living space and get additional units depending on how many quests we have. Would you try to trade points to get an 11mth window to get the Grand Villa or just take a chance with a 7mth window?

We also probably won't have a good head count at 11mths. I'm hoping to get everyone to commit before the 7mth window but might not even get that.

Everyone here says that "OKW Grand Villas are the easiest to get as there are lots," so call day-by-day and best of luck to you!

OKW has 27 GV's ................so you may have a shot at the 7 month window. If you don't want to take a chance you can have an OKW owner book it for you at 11 months and you transfer your VWL or BWV pts to them.

Yes, it is possible. I booked an OKW GV for the 2nd week of June 2004 at the 7 month window. I booked day-by-day. At first I waitlisted for 5 out of the 7 days but within 2 weeks had all 7 days booked. I waitlisted each day individually vs waitlisting for the week as a whole. All the days came through. I did book a 2 bdrm/1 studio for the nights I waitlisted for just in case the GV did not come through. Then when MS called, I had them cancel the rooms once the GV night was booked.
