OKW free dining package tickets

Hi,

I am looking to book the OKW package for next August. We already have AP´s from this year, so don´t need tickets. Can we save the tickets which we need to buy as part of the package for future use?

Not as far as I know, I believe they have to be activated to receive the free DDP,
Only option I can suggest is buying 14/21 day tickets to get free DDP and upgrade to AP then let your currect AP's expire.

I would like to know this too as I am hoping to do something similar.

I have heard people getting the park tickets before checking in so I assume they can be separated form the KTTW. Not sure what expiry date they have though and I am wondering if it would be better to get the 7 day premium ticket which I believe can be upgraded to a non-expiry ticket.

Not sure about that - we had 2 days of free dining in October before activating the park tickets and upgrading to PAPs and the activation date was the day we exchanged them for the PAPs

You are correct, we have used DDP before going in a park. I worded it incorrectly.
Somehow they must be related to to the hotel & DDP because you can't get free DDP without tickets. Not sure if you can seperate from that package, if you can get the tickets off the KTTW card then you should be able to use for another trip before the 31st Dec of the year purchased for but I have read seperating tickets is better done on the last day as sometimes they lose the DDP credits.
Its probably possible with a CM who knows what they are doing, its finding that CM.

We upgraded DD Ultimate to a standard AP in September.

I have decided to get the 7 day next time (as we are doing free dining in Feb but want APs to last the rest of the year!) as I know the dollar value as I think we got a bit ripped off with the value given for the 14 day.

The 7 day is the same entitlements as a 7 day MYW with park hopping & water parks and more options so i would expect to get the same dollar value when I upgrade.

From what I have read if you use your original ticket for any of the waterparks or Disney Quest then you have to upgrade to PAP, just use the original ticket for the 4 parks then you can upgrade to AP, Saying that I have read at least 1 post who said they used theirs for a waterpark day but they were still allowed to upgrade to the AP so again it could be which CM you get.
