OKW 2BR Lock off

hello !

We have a reservation for a 2BR villa at OKW for next august for 11 nights. The crew will be me, DH, my brother and sister in law.

As I really need my privacy I would like to be sure to get a lock-off unit but using the UK website I was only able to book a 2BR without any details. I know that using US site you can choose but not using UK site.

Any advice to get sure to have a lock off ?

If you are booking a cash reservation either here or in the US whether you have a dedicated or lock off is only a request.

DVC members are the only ones who can specify at booking what type of unit they want.

Hi we were in a 1 bedroomed villa at OKW last October and in the hallway there was a lockable door to the studio which was next door , I believe that this is how they would do the 2 bedroomed villa if you dont get a guaranteed 2 bedroom one. Both sides lockable doors from what I could gather so it would be fairly private for you , although depending on who was in the main part ie the one bedroomed part then that it where the kitchen and utility areas are. hope this helps, and hopefully clear too.

The main difference between the two types is that the lock off has two front doors - one to the one bed section and one to the studio. The dedicated two bed only has one entrance.

A lock off unit can be separated in to a one bedroom and studio. The dedicated is just a two bedroom unit.

The main differences are the lock off will have 2 external entrances, 2 doors (one opening each way and lockable) between the living room and second bedroom and the second bedroom will have the kitchenette.

TBH from a privacy point of view unless one couple is going to have sole use of the one bedroom and the other couple sole use of the studio there will be no real difference.
