Do all 2 Bedroom units at OKW come with 2 queen beds? Or is there a possibility to get 1 queen and a sleeper sofa?

I tried to search, but couldn't find it.

Thanks

All lock-off studios have 2 queens at OKW. All dedicated 2BR's have 2 queens in the 2nd BR also.

There is a sleep sofa in the living room of all 2BR villas at OKW.

What is the difference between a lock out & a dedicated 2 bedroom?

The second bedroom has two doors that can be locked from either side. Just like any hotel with connecting rooms. The 'lock off' units have a microwave and minifridge in the studio(second bedroom)

At OKW. that is the only difference, some of the other resorts have a queen and a pullout couch in the second bedroom(studio).

All OKW second bedrooms(sudios) have two queens.

I am under the impression that 2 bed room lock off units all have an outside porch off the studio part of the unit and a large porch off the 1 bedroom side of the unit. The lock off style unit also has 2 entrances and exits - one off the studio part and the other off the 1 bed room side of the unit. "Dedicated" 2 bed room units only have one porch and also only have one entrance door.

That's correct, there is no separate porch for the second bedroom in a dedicated. A dedicated has an extra walk-in closet in the second bedroom in place of the entrance door. An extra bathroom sink takes the place of the kitchenette.

I think it is another plus for DVC (at least at OKW) that a family with kids can get a dedicated unit with only one entrance but a group of adults that would appreciate the privacy of a second entraqnce and an additional porch can reserve a lock off unit.

I think that DVC realized with BWV that they had made a mistake in not having a dedicated 2-bedroom for the families-both VWL and BCV had a dedicated - and yes also in both cases - some of the dedicated has 2 queen beds. Some at BCV don't - but I think most of the dedicated do.

just beware if you have a 2-bedroom at BWV - that the 2nd bedroom (the studios) have a way for your children to get out without going through the main door in the 1-bedroom part.

Do all the resorts have the dedicated or lock-off choice in both the one and two bedroom units? Is this something you can request when making your reservation? I never knew there was a difference.

We are staying in a lock-off one bedroom at VWL. Will this have two balconies, entrances, etc.?

If you have a lock-off 2BR, it will have 2 entrances, 2 balconies and the 2nd BR will have the mini-kitchen.

Dedicated 2BR's (at OKW, VWL, BCV, HH and VB) all have 1 entrance, no balcony for the 2nd BR, and extra closet space where the mini-kitchen would be. At OKW, VWL, HH and VB- all dedicated 2BR's have 2 queens in the 2nd BR.

Enjoy!

I made reservations at OKW for a 2 bed room lock off unit and it was noted on my reservation. It did not show up as a request but when I called back to confirm my requests I was told twice that it was noted on my reservation and that I would receive it.
