I totally agree. Most people either love VWL or it's last on their list. WE love it and really have no desire to stay anywhere else

We tried to make a reservation for a weeks stay at SSR last Dec 31- Jan 7 but could only get 4 days because they where booked up. These reservation where made in October, when we were in the process of signing up to buy into SSR. Believe it or not, we were put on the "waiting list" for THAT resort. Loved every day we where there!

Since I am pretty computer illiterate and cannot post a poll (especially one like this), I am volunteering to "do things the old-fashioned way" and manually tabulate the results of this one. In reference to Daitcher's controversial thread, I am asking everyone to please rank the DVC resorts in order from your favorite to your least favorite. I will periodically post the results, and we can compare this to the # of available rooms in the system.

I don't mean to ignore HH or VB, but for the sake of this poll...please only consider on-site DVC's (B3....no playing around on this one ).

To tabulate this, I am going to assign 5pts to each 1st resort, 4 for each 2nd, etc. This way, I can keep "cumulative" ranks.

I'll start:

Good job Beca - some people seem to have added more to your poll than I read into it. I thought you were asking for people's favorites in order not where they actually book - two entirely different things - and not always based on availability. The numbers therefore will not match what actually happend in the world of reservations or am I oversimplifying since I apparently missed the thread you were referring to?

Glad you enjoyed it but are you really surprised you were waitlisted over New Years? All the DVC resorts were crammed, people had to stay somehwere.

I haven't read the whole thread, so its probably already been pointed out. I would guess that SSR is not even 50% sold out yet. But if you go with 50% of its capacity, then you would have to use 20% for the available units.

Also, once SSR is completed the poll results would change again since 40% of the owners will be SSR owners.
