Well, it's after midnight, I leave in the am, and I'm tired. But I knew I had better check in here before hittin' the bricks!

Marco is south of Naples, Gulf side. Go any farther south and you're in the Everglades.

Barry, I saw your posts re: Carribean Gardens. I told you the girls and I would join in, but you met on the 15th! (How did it go, BTW?)

We'll arrive on Marco 11/25. The 26th I'll help Mom w/ any last minute doings, the 27th is the Day of Thanks. (Still trying to formulate a proper blessing, considering all the ick we've faced this year. It will come...) 28th is clean up and pack up. 29th is WDW!!!

So....Not as relaxing as it was supposed to be. We were going to arrive on the 22nd or 23rd, but the septic system is acting up. Can you imagine 5 more females loading up on that!! So we cut that portion down a bit.

AnyWAy!! 12/6 is our departure day, though we have ps for CRT in the am. I bet my girls will talk me into one or two more rides before getting in the car. (They'll really have to twist my arm. )

So, FloridaMinnie...12/6 is pushing it for me. Not to say I'm not open to ideas! One of my girls turned 5 in June. The youngest will be 3 end of the year. Your dd would fit right in!!

I'll be bringing my lap top. I don't know why, seeing as I don't know how to access the internet with it...but my dad has a computer at the FL house. I'll be in touch once I land in the sunshine!

Wish me luck, everyone!! I don't want to be doing any sleep driving!!

Well, Richard and I went to see the Radio City Christmas show in Ft. Lauderdale today. It was SPECTACULAR! What a great way to spend a couple hours. I would LOVE to go back and see it again. We had THIRD ROW CENTER seats! Woooooooooo hooooooooooo! They really outdo themselves...the dancing, the singing, the music, the costumes. It was really something else! Richard wasn't thrilled but did like it...especially the camel, the donkey, and the sheep!

Thought I'd give myself a pat on the back and check in. We're in Murfreesboro!! We made it out of our driveway and I've actually figured out how to use the laptop!! Well, the nice front desk clerk showed me how. But here I am in our room, typing away. Tomorrows destination is Ocala. I hope it's not much warmer there than it is here! 70's at 8pm! I had to turn the ac on in the car and in our room.

Well, provided I figure this out again tomorrow, I'll check in again later.

Definitely see it when you have the chance. I've ALWAYS LOVED theatre. When I was in high school, I took Theatre Arts. That started me on it! I used to do the stage make-up on the actors for the school plays. It was so much fun, and I loved it! When I met with my guidance counselor about a career, I told him that I wanted to do stage make-up in New York! I was told that it's a very competitive field and should pick something else. And that's exactly what I thought about as I was watching today. What are the chances of becoming one of the Rockettes? But they're doing it! And there ARE people who do stage make-up!! It's always ticked me off.

So in case anyone is interested......

Sat night I got together with my "friend." Hung out, watched PotC!!! It was great. I had missed it when it was in the theater, glad it has come to video. It was pretty chilly that evening, perfect snuggling under a blanket and having someone rub your cold feet type of weather....ahhh it is so nice when mother nature cooperates in my love life!!!

My "friend" lives on the corner of a rd that my best friend drives to and from her house. She called me today to tell me that she saw my car parked there on her way to church Sunday morning!! And she honked!!!!
