And I am in the process of getting estimates for tree trims. One I got is for $400!!!!!!

How many trees do they have to trim? My yard guy just trimmed the tree above my garage. He cut it back quite a bit. He also cleaned out two very large flower beds and cleaned the pine needles off the roof. Guess how much he charged me? $70 - I couldn't believe it!

That's just for one tree- a large black olive. I'm still waiting on two other companies to give me estimates.

Vicki- Glad you like your job and it's going well.

TB- Have a great trip!

PW- Suzanne was in Alabama????

My sister's husband is in the National Guard. He got called up to assist in the hurricane relief effort.

TigerBear...Would you send your guy over here please?! :)

Legs...Yes, Alabama. Bless your brother-in-law and the rest in the NG!

Marvin...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...small talk going on. Haven't seen a picture yet. He says he's working on getting one posted. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

PW, I would share him if I could. I can't believe how cheap he is! The first time I hired him I had him clean out both of my flower beds. The beds really are large-each one is a rock border surrounding either two or three pine trees. They were a complete mess with weeds and grass. Well, he not only cleared the weeds but he also removed and replaced the rock. It looks so much better. Guess how much he charged me? $40. I couldn't believe it!

Yep, thank God for both the National Guard the Red Cross! ::yes::

:earseek: $40? He sounds like my kind of "handyman!" :) I have to start making a list for here when I notice things. Right now with 2 days of non-stop rain, it's wet in the "sunroom" area just inside the door. :( The windows are closed, the door doesn't feel wet, I hope it's not coming in from underneath. :scared1:

I haven't heard from HG since the end of July but I thought since he lived in the area affected by the hurricane I would call him. So I called him tonight and left a message saying hi and was wondering if he was ok after the hurricane and to give me a call. We'll see if he ever calls back:rolleyes:

TB- I need your handyman!

That will be interesting to see, Legs.

Speaking of Harleys...DHT has been gone to a Harley Davidson rally. LOLOLOL! These guys are big kids!!! Maybe HG has been there also and missed the hurricane! ;)

Ready to write off "Marvin." These conversations are just too uninteresting.

Haven't heard anything back yet from HG. Ready to write him off too.

Effortless, Legs? Wow! Were you lucky! I've never been comfortable with it, but at least I came across more people then.

Vicki...How's work? :teeth:

Suzanne...Hope things are going well!! How's Brianna after her surgery?

:Pinkbounc Guess what! Guess what! :Pinkbounc

Last week Chris asked me to marry him! :) :goodvibes :lovestruc  :cheer2: :cloud9:

Busy Busy Busy.....
I leave Sunday for Disney, and I am packing, finishing school, and..... daydreaming. :cloud9:

Hope everyone is well! Will talk more when I get to Florida.
