I know the Royal Gathering booking window has historically been 30 days out with online check-in. Is the Royal Gathering still at 30 days, or is it when your check-in window opens for you Castaway Club level (not activity booking window)?

Not staggered based on CC level. Opens 30 days out from sailing date for everyone.

Ours was still at 30 days. I did online check-in the last week of May then had to wait until June 1 to book the gathering for our July 1 cruise.

Yes, the check-in windows will be staggered by Castaway Club status. This wasn't in effect when I checked in for my last cruise. I would assume that Princess Gatherings would stay with the on-line check in dates. HTH

This is actually not true - the Royal Gathering can be booked at 30 days for everyone, regardless of CC status. (Speaking from experience- our check-in happened right after the staggered check-in went into effect, and Royal Gathering opened at 30 days for everyone).

Ok. So you have to log in separately from everything else to book it. Gotcha.

Yes, 30 days for everyone. We are sailing on October 7th and I checked the app and says we can book Royal Gathering starting September 7th.

Midnight ET, same as other activity bookings. I noticed when I booked onboard activities and shore excursions for my November Magic cruise that Royal Gathering is listed under Onboard Fun with a note giving the date bookings open (30 days before sailing, several days after my On-board Check-in opens).

I lucked out and was in Wisconsin when my window opened so I only had to stay up until 11. Normally I'm finding things to stay awake - but not too awake - until midnight being in NYC.
