It's better than getting one guy every two months on eHarmony.

How much time do you have to talk to each other? Might be tough if you only had 2 min. and had never met the person before. I wouldn't know what to say.

I'm trying to remember which two I did - there are quite a few companies out there. I think one was 8 minute dating and the other was called fast dater and it was 3 minutes long. I actually liked the 3 minute one better believe it or not! With the 3 minute one you got to meet everyone in the room. 8 minutes with some people is a very, very long time.

Marvin? Have been answering questions back and forth today. We're in stage 3. Got through the initial questions, what he can live with and can't live without, now more questions. I had 3 more matches today. This is a first! LOL! Got the ball rolling with 2 of them, the 3rd I closed right away. His history is just too close to mine, and I don't want to go there again with someone else. He's widowed just 2 years or so. Not going there. I'm trying to get past it pretty much for good, and I don't want to be reminded by talking about someone else's experience. I do feel for the guy on that point, but I don't want it in my face on a daily basis. Now...where are the younger guys?

Tiger Bear...Wow! So he just left them in your garage! Hmmm...I would have thought he'd at least sell them. Maybe he'll trade them in for a "classic."

Things he can't stand...

Depression, lying, cheating, anger, rudeness, denial, racist, poor hygeine ...this has to be mentioned? arrogance, infidelity...again, it has to be mentioned?

His must haves...

Verbal intimacy, communicator, patience, conflict resolver, affectionate, self-confidence, loyal, shared interests, style and appearance.

There's a listing and you have to choose from the list. There are also open ended questions and closed...choose an answer. His answers have been okay, but I'm not getting any fuzzy feelings here.

Been bummed out tonight.

I have 'infidelity' on my Can't Stand List, and yes, I feel it must be mentioned.

My matches' (yes, I had some once upon a time, LOL) answers seemed ok too but it wasn't until we were in open communication (talking on the phone and meeting in person) that I could tell if I liked them or not.

I was on eHarmony at one time. I only got about 5 matches and none of them clicked. The whole process seemed to take such a long time...has anyone had any luck with eHarmony even if it didn't last?

Might start work tomorrow. Still waiting for all of the legalities....

PW~I've had those sleepless nights....not fun! I always couldn't wait until the sun would come up.

Going to meet the inspector for the new house today...hope it is all good!

It sure does seem to take a long time. I was surprised to see a few the other day. Then again, Suzanne has had a lot of luck as far as them finding matches for her. (Suzanne, did you fall in a hole, planning for school, or reading good books?)

Not fun is right, Vicki. Unfortunately, I don't sleep well very often. Have tried all I can think of...occasionally Tylenol PM, body pillows. It's just NOT the same.

Back to job searching and then I have to get out of the house for a while. Just having tough days lately.

I'm not impressed. LOLOLOL! I'm okay with the being concerned about the mom part, but I was expecting a little more "substance" in this.

At first I didn't realize you were quoting him and I had the hardest time trying to figure out what you were saying! EH seems so structured - I can maybe see how now he isn't sure what to do. Are you interested enough to talk to him on the phone?

CM, how did the inspection go? I left a message today with a realtor but didn't hear back.

The inspection is in 45 min. at 5pm MST. I'll let you know how it goes. I am surprised you have not heard back from a realtor yet....here it is so competitive that the realtors are knocking each other down to get the business.

Yellowstone...I am so jealous! I have never been and I live fairly close! That is on my to do list for sure. I'll be anxious to hear all about it!

Sorry you're feeling down. Like CM said, I think getting a job will help and keep your mind occupied. It does mine. But what a job doesn't do is help at 3:00am when the mind demons show up That is the worst time of the day for me.

TB- Have a great time at Yellowstone! I've never been, so I want to hear all about it when you get back.

No, no interest in the phone. But I think I'll send him a note back and also ask him about his career. Guys always seem to be able to talk about that easily. And I'm curious what a nuclear electrician does!

Sorry! I probably should have put an introduction on it mentioning that it was what he sent me.

The realtors are knocking each other down? LOLOL! That's the truth! When I moved here I lived in a hotel for 3 weeks. The realtors thought I was lucky to be there "just" that time! When I bought my place, my realtor somehow managed to get me in here to see it before it was listed. Lucky for me!!
