I am trying to pack as lightly as possible (HA!) and wanted to know what the weather is like? I check weather.com but on every other trip, whatever it says on there, it usually is about 8-10 degrees hotter in DL and on Harbor. Our car thermometer always shows more than what weather.com says!! We call it the Disneyland Factor in our family.

So my question is, how is it really right now? Do we need short sleeve shirts for during the day? It says 69-71 for Sun-Tues, but if you add the Disneyland factor, are we talking 75-80? That's definitely short sleeves for me!!

Thanks for your help!

Andrea :sunny:

When I was out today, I was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt and had a light jacket on in the morning and this evening.

Well, this is supposed to be a kind of crazy week. I would bring jeans, s/s tops, a light sweater (hoodie??) and a light rain coat. I wouldn't guess that it will be cold, but it has been chilly in the evenings and they keep threatening possible rain.

yea, im wearing a light jacket and T-shirt right now... you might need that during the night...

Morning, it was cold as hell
Afternoon, pretty warm, i could go t-shirt
Night, a bit cold but it isnt that bad.

I just retuned Wed. night from 5 days at DL. During the day it was nice. I wore light-weight long sleeve cotton knit shirts and had my sleeves pushed up. The sun sets about 4:45, so from about 3:00 on, as the sun gets lower, it starts to feel cooler.

During the evenings I think it depends on what you'll be doing. If you're going to sit at the Tomorrowland Terrace and listen to music, or sit and watch the parade and/or stake out a spot for the fireworks it gets pretty chilly. On those evenings, I wore gloves and a light scarf around my neck, then a light jacket. If you're going to be walking around, doing rides, you'll probably feel warmer. On those nights a denim shirt over my long sleeve shirt was enough for me.

Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone! I guess I am taking a short and long sleeve shirt for each of us for each day! So much for light packing right!

I'm packing every type of clothing (ss and ls shirts, sweaters, jackets, jeans, shorts etc. ) I'm sure to over-pack for this upcoming week but it beats having to hit Target to shop for appropriate clothing which is what we've had to do on previous trips

I think I have it all set now!

mesbijoux- I wish I could but I need to pare down to the bare minimum as we have 7 of us, 2 strollers, and all the luggage going in one vehicle!!!

Sat and Sun... Rain :(

suggust bring something heavy... the last time it rained, it was like super duper cold...

ACK! Rain???? I just looked last night and it said only 10% chance on weather.com. Going there now!!!

OKay, well I just went to weather.com and Sunday changed to 20%, but Mon and Tues is still 10%. I can handle those odds. We aren't getting there till noon on Sunday anyways! Please Please Please let there be no rain. I know some of you like it, but rain is not fun with little kids, babies and strollers!!!

No Rain * No Rain * No Rain *

TOmorrow Night: Cloudy with occasional rain showers. Low 49F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.

Sat night :/

Thanks Albort. We don't get in until Sunday thank goodness. I hope it clears up by then!!!
