No Essex Meet this year then?

Come on Penny and Shirley, we all know how much you enjoyed your reccying (think I've just made that word up!) of the pubs last year and you also ordered perfect weather, so, come on, come on, you know you want to do it all again this year, and it's not too late!!

Sure there's a few more of us who'd like another get together, and just mention the B E E R word and no doubt some more will crawl out of the woodwork!

Your wish is my command Astrid ....... I've consulted with Sam and Penny and we have come up with a date............ <b>Saturday September 28th.</b>

Venue uncertain as yet, but we need a child friendly pub in Essex, preferably with a garden ( we can but hope for the sunshine we had last year......... and the year before that!) that can deal happily and calmly with the onslaught of a crowd of UK DISers at lunchtime.

The same venue as last year has been suggested - the Kings Head ( or was it the Queen's Head?) in North Weald near Epping -
and if that meets with approval, we could go there. ( I seem to remember the landlady and landlord were away when we were there, so DH and I may have to go and check them out for friendliness!!!)

If you've not been to a DIS meet before, you are very welcome to join us - we'd love to meet you
