Let's get a list together to get an idea of numbers - it is usually best to forewarn the pub so that they can get an extra beer tanker to arrive the day before and stock up on food!! ( They're still trying to recover their beer supplies after Kevin Stringer's appearance last year )

Naturally the number will swell if there are children and spouses and miscellaneous hangers-on so do tell me if you want anyone added on. ( I'll request references and CVs later )

12.00noon was a good time to meet - if it isn't nice enough to sit outside like before, there is a nice little section we could try to take over (!!), right of the bar if you come in the front entrance, there's a doorway ( no door!) that says above it "Duck Or Grouse"!! Children aren't allowed in the immediate bar area, but they should be fine in there and in the dining area.

Sorry you won't be able to come AnnMarie - I'm in Bishop's Stortford not that far from you!!

ESSEX MEET is next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DH and I are off to the pub later to just check it out and ensure it is the right pub!!!!!
There are two pubs very close to each other - one is the Queen's Head the other the King's! I want to be absolutely sure I remember it correctly and that it is the King's Head..... plus have a word with the landlord and landlady regarding their stocking up with extra tankers of beer and plenty of food!!!!!!!
I'll report in later but the time will be the same as last year - 12noon
