OK that's it we are moving to Florida ~ Our first trip to the World; UPDT 7/12

Joining in! Lexi is simply adorable!

Too bad about the storms and delay with your flights at the start but it seems once you got to WDW everything was smooth sailing.

Looking forward to more!

So when I last left you I was riding Space Mountain after I found Jon and Lexi again.
Jon took some pictures while I was riding Space Mountain

Next we watched Carousal Of Progress. Lexi really wanted to ride Astro Orbiter so we got in line for that. This was the longest line we had all day. The wait time said 15 min but we waited about 30 min, just to get to the elevator. Then there was only room for 2 people so Jon and Lexi went up and I just went to sit down.

Some pictures Jon took while on Astro

I was tired and getting hungry. When Jon and Lexi finally came back down. We went to find something to eat. Jon had a headache off and on all day today and just wanted to go back to Pop. I really wanted to go to Casey's and find a spot to watch the parade and Wishes. We got to Casey's and Jon said he wanted to go back to Pop. This was when we had our one and only disagreement of the trip. He said thought the plan for today was to go back to Pop early and rest I had told him the night before what the plan for today was because he asked. He forgot about the parade and Wishes. I got mad and just started to walk back to the buses. We ended up getting split up. I got in line and just got on the bus to go back to Pop with Lexi and the stroller. Jon had lost me in the crowd and didn't know where I was and he kept trying to call me. It was so loud on the bus that I didn't hear my phone. I called him to tell him where we were once the bus started moving. Alexia and I waited for Jon once we got back to Pop he was on the bus after us. We said we were sorry and all was well again. It really was just because we were tired and hungry. We ate something from the food court but I don't remember what it was. :rotfl: I know after we ate we went to bed.

Here are some pictures of our lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.

We sat in front the big fireplace.

Jon had the Fresh Catch of the Season which was Trout. He said it was really good.

I had the New England Pot Roast. It was awesome and not fatty at all.
Disney%252520340.JPG

Jon's dessert which is no longer on the menu. It was really good.

My dessert was the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. It was good but I liked Jon's better.

Hey PM!

I remember seeing you post and my TR and wanted to come check your report out. I am loving it!

Great job so far.

I really like all the photos and descriptions.

Pop Century is such a fun place to stay. And tie-dyed cheesecake ROCKS!

Looking forward to more!

:welcome: Thanks for stopping by. It was a great place for us to stay. We didn't have any of the problems the Liesa had with loud people, rude language, or dirty diapers. You are right that cheesecakes rocks.

Enjoying the report!

:welcome:

Yeah, there's no way we're lettin' you out of sharing this trip with us! ;)

Hope all is getting back to normal. We're here still and anxious for the next adventure you have to share with us.

Liesa

I bet you guys thought I was never coming back. I actually have time now that school is done.

I'm here now and caught up! I hope life slows down for you a bit, but until then, we'll hang out! :goodvibes

It has finally slowed down for me. Thanks for hanging out. :goodvibes

Joining in! Your trip so far sounds like so much fun!! :goodvibesLexi is so cute!! :cutie:

:welcome:

There is so much to comment on.
Yes, I want to see food pictures. Don't leave me out of any Disney foods joys!

I added them for you and I won't forget them anymore. ;)

I agree that Lexi shoudl live in WDW so she can really figure out about her favorite rides.

Now we just need to convince Jon to move sooner than later.

Five minute waits and walk-ons make for a wonderful Magic Kingdom day. :wizard:

It was a magical day!!!

I love all the pictures of that smiling little girl in her Mickey ears.:goodvibes

It puts a smile on my face. :goodvibes She really wanted to sleep with it on.

Haunted Mansion is too cool to be scary. That's what I tell people when they ask about it - it's not like a Halloween haunted house where they try to scare the bejeezus out of you, it's just a fascinating ride with awesome special effects.

I tried to tell him that.:confused3

The Splash Mountain sign is one of my favorites. I think the whole area is so nicely themed. I'm glad Lexi was brave enough to ride.

She was sitting next to me while I was updating just now and said she was ready to go on it again. It is a very nicely themed area.

What did she think about driving the car herself? Kids usually think that is some big stuff to drive a car!

She loves to drive. We have a Wildlife Safari Park here and Jon lets her steer the car while we go though.

Great MK day!! It's a shame the weather was not bright but sounds like you had a blast anyway! :thumbsup2

Wow on rides having a wait time of 5 mins or less - that is great!

It was so nice to have such short wait times. Towards the end of our trip it was getting busier and we didn't have those anymore. It did turn out to be such a nice day.

Fog actually looks a bit "cool"! Were you riding Space Mt, etc., alone?? I've never done that. :guilty:

And I think it's funny that Lexi said she loves Splash Mt but didn't want to ride it again. Sounds like my Brooke when she rode Big Bad Wolf in Busch Gardens a few years ago. :lmao:

I did ride it by myself. I actually ended up riding a lot of things by myself because we had to do child swaps. She just said today she would do it again, but I don't know if she would if we were really there.

Joining in! Lexi is simply adorable!

Thanks for coming by. I need to go catch up on your report.

Disagreements are bound to happen along the way, and being hungry and tired can make one frustrated so much more quickly. I am so pleased you were all able to say "sorry" quickly and move on. I can't imagine a trip being ruined by hurt feelings not being taken care of.

Your pix of the flowers are really awesome, and I LOVE that one from the Orbiter. That's the ONE ride I simply will not go on at all, so enjoy seeing pix from other folks :)

I think being hungry and tired makes every thing seem about 100x worse than they really are. I would say that the majority of our disagreements happen when one or both of us are tired, hungry, or both.

We really enjoyed all the flowers. It looks like the views are pretty good from up there.

It is not a family vacation without a fight! I'm glad that you guys were able to make up quickly. Fatigue and hunger really can bring the worst out in all of us.

Ok- I'm subbed in and all caught up!! Your little Lexi is soooooo cute!!:cutie:

Those were some really great dessert pictures!

I have never eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, only for dinner. May have to give it a try.

Magic Kingdom is my favorite park, and I love going there with little ones. They make it so much fun.

glad to see that you are back & updating your reort. Lexi is so cute in her ears, especially with that big smile!

It wouldn't be a trip without at least one small dust up, it clears the air & lowers tensions.

Hi there,
I'm subscribed to your TR and all caught up. I love all your pictures. Lexi is such a doll. I'm glad your foggy MK day turned out to be nice and sunny. LTT is so good for lunch and I love the ooey gooey toffee cake. I made it at home a couple times for my family. Glad that your DH and you said sorry and moved on. Tiredness and hunger make all of us grumpy :goodvibes

Just popped over from MeMom's report -- I kept meaning to, but it took your mention of food pics to finally get me here. And well worth it, too, I must say. Jon's trout and those desserts look especially yummy!

What a familiar scene your hungry-times tiff is! Don't start with me with low blood sugar, or DH in the heat, or DD with either. Now we wait until everyone is cool & fed before tackling major topics. Like where to perch for Wishes. ;) So glad you put your tiff behind you just as soon as you could. I'm sure the next day seemed brighter after clearing the air, dinner, and a good night's sleep.
Can't wait to see what's next!

Ain't that the truth ;)

She loves those ears. She still wears them sometimes but she does keep them on a shelf because she told me she, "doesn't want them to get ruined so she can keep them forever."

It was such a nice day once the fog and clouds burned off. We move on pretty quickly from those episodes. I have read enough tr's that I know we aren't the only ones to let tiredness and hunger get to us. :goodvibes

He really enjoyed his trout. Isn't it amazing how being tired, hungry and hot can make any situation seem so much worse than they really are. I am going to try to get an update done today.

This looks and sounds delicious!!!
You liked the chocolate thing better, though? I'm more of a touch of chocolate person than a solid chocolate person. That picture makes me want to go to the kitchen and make that myself right now.

I liked them both the same. It tasted like a brownie.

I love the food pictures! Yum yum!!!

I like them too except for when I am hungry then it is torturer. :goodvibes

I love the picture of Dumbo with the Castle in the background!

And how sweet that she wanted her Daddy to ride with her. :cutie: You guys got a TON covered that morning! Love those short lines!!

Sorry to hear about the disagreement. It happens, unfortunately. Being tired and hungry are excellent ingredients! Glad you made up and put it behind you!

I love that picture too I only wish it had been sunny and not so overcast.

We have learned over our 12 years of marriage that most of our disagreements happen when one or both of us are suffering form over tired, being hungry, or both.
