OK that's it we are moving to Florida ~ Our first trip to the World; UPDT 7/12

I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about all of you. My parents are here on there way back to Maine. They winter in AZ and stop here on their way back home. I am almost done my next update and I have also received our photopass cd. So I will have those pictures too.

It was so nice to walk on. I know I am spoiled for the rest of my trips. I really wanted to walk down Main Street so it was fine with me. We didn't have battery issues the rest of trip.

Love the pics of Tusker House - you took some great shots Am glad you managed to get some food inside you after not having much to eat the night before.

Great animal pics and Lexi looks like she had so much fun at Rafiki's Planet Watch! Yay on riding EE and Dumbo with minimum wait times!

Lexi was in seventh heaven with all those animals. She has always said she wants to be a zoo keeper ever since she was 2. She now says she wants to be a zoo keeper at Animal Kingdom.

The tree is called a Sausage Tree. It is called that because the fruit hanging down resembles sausage.

Thats what I called it but I didn't know that was it's official name.

I know what you mean by wanting fresh Florida oranges...they are the best!

My DMom's best friend live in Orlano for many years and we would stay with her every year.

She had orange trees in her yard...I was very spoiled to be able to just go back there and pick one anytime I wanted.

I love love love fresh squeeze orange juice!

Last year I tried to buy some oranges before we left and they were gross...either it was a bad crop, weather isssues or maybe it was too late in the season.
I was a little dissapointed. California oranges just aren't the same.

We now get fresh grapefruits and lemons from AZ when my parents come through and Jon and Lexi don't like the store grapefruits anymore. I squeeze the lemons and freeze the juice in baggies all pre-measured for lemonade.

It looks like you had a great day! That is so sweet that you went to MK so Lexi could get a ride on Dumbo. I am really hungry this morning and my stomach growled out loud when I saw what you had to eat that evening. The chicken alfredo and the tie-dye cheesecake is my favorite meal at POP!

It was my favorite meal too.

Love your AK day! I forgot our beautiful AK is. Lexi looks adorable.

Awe, shucks, I think she is pretty adorable too. It is a really beautiful park and we didn't have to deal with the heat everybody complains about.

Animal Kingdom makes for such great photography!

I love going out to Conservation Station. It's such a great place with little ones.

Nice on only have to wait about 10 minutes for Dumbo.

It was really nice. It was the shortest wait we had for Dumbo.

Count me in!!!

Our book came out really nice. I don't think I did to bad for my first one. I don't scrapbook either so I have never done anything like that before. We did have a really nice long trip and we still didn't want to leave.

Just found your TR and can't wait to read more!!!

Lexi is so cute, after having 4 sons I love looking at everyone's little girls. I'm taking my GDs for their first trip to WDW in Sept.

On our second full day we went to Magic Kingdom. Lexi was so excited to be going back to ride Dumbo.

According the weather report it was going to be in the high 70's today after the sun burned the fog away. I was a little sad that we didn't have blue skies but I was sooo excited to finally have made it here. I was a teary eyed while we were walking down Main Street.

First we saw Pinocchio. He didn't have a line!!!!!!!!!!

This was the last character Lexi wanted to see other then the ones we saw at our character meals. She wasn't afraid of them, but she said she just didn't want to wait in line to see them.

Next of course we went here.

Do you think she is excited?

All of these next rides were either a walk on or had a wait of 5 min or less.

Next up the Tea Cups, we still pretty much walked on.

Lexi stopped here and wanted a picture.

The last thing we rode before heading for our lunch adr was the Carousel. Lexi wanted her dad to ride the same horse as her. She even asked the ride attendant if it was ok.

After each ride Lexi would say it was her favorite after Dumbo. She loved them all and this was the first day she told Jon we should move here so she could ride them every day to pick her favorite besides Dumbo.

We were in line for Snow White but then a lady came out with a kid was crying and said it was scary so then of course Lexi didn't want to ride after she heard that. If I had realized they were going to close it shortly after our trip I would have gone ahead and rode it by my self. Jon and I had agreed before our trip that we would not make Lexi ride anything she didn't want to. She is really sensitive to loud noises and we didn't want her to remember that we made her go on things she didn't want to. While we were so proud of her because she never cried or complained things were to loud. If it was to loud for her she just covered her ears. That was the magic of Disney for us.

After Jon and Lexi's ride on the Carousel we started making our way to Liberty Tree Tavern.

We had a wonderful meal. Jon had the trout, I had the pot roast, and Lexi had pizza. I have pictures but they are not on my laptop. If you want to see them let me know and I post them for you. After our meal the sun had come out and it started to warm up. I rode Haunted Mansion while Jon stayed with Lexi. Jon didn't want to ride even though I told him it wasn't a haunted house. The wait time posted said 20 min but I walked right in.

Next we went here, because Lexi really, really wanted to ride it.

She loved it, but didn't want to ride it again she said.

Next up I rode Big Thunder Mountain, but for some reason Jon didn't take a picture.

We got at Toon Town and went here

We had to visit Minnie too!!!!

I tried to talk Lexi into riding Barnstormer but she wouldn't.

She really wanted to go driving so we went racing next.

Lexi was happy her and daddy beat me.

Next Jon and Lexi had a snack but I don't remember what it was. I rode Space Mountain while they ate.

I have just lost power and my battery is about to die so I will finish this up tomorrow.

There is so much to comment on.

Yes, I want to see food pictures. Don't leave me out of any Disney foods joys!

I agree that Lexi shoudl live in WDW so she can really figure out about her favorite rides.

Five minute waits and walk-ons make for a wonderful Magic Kingdom day.

I love all the pictures of that smiling little girl in her Mickey ears.

Haunted Mansion is too cool to be scary. That's what I tell people when they ask about it - it's not like a Halloween haunted house where they try to scare the bejeezus out of you, it's just a fascinating ride with awesome special effects.

The Splash Mountain sign is one of my favorites. I think the whole area is so nicely themed. I'm glad Lexi was brave enough to ride.

What did she think about driving the car herself? Kids usually think that is some big stuff to drive a car!

Fog actually looks a bit "cool"! Were you riding Space Mt, etc., alone?? I've never done that.

And I think it's funny that Lexi said she loves Splash Mt but didn't want to ride it again. Sounds like my Brooke when she rode Big Bad Wolf in Busch Gardens a few years ago.
