OK, so how exactly does the FP for Fantasmic work?

I am on the fence about paying $$$ for the F! dinner package just to get guaranteed seats for the show in the special VIP section or using a FP and see where I wind up. How soon do I need to get there if I am using FP and want good seats? I normally would have no problem paying extra for the dinner to get good seats but I'm not keen on eating at 3:30.

Depends on how heavy the crowds are, but if you want the best FP seats ( closer to the center reserved section), then about 60 min before showtime.

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll just bite the bullet and eat at 3:30 to get the voucher. I'd rather not sit around for an hour just to have someone come pushing through ten minutes before show.
