Ok people, I am relying on your expierience

I am coming to WDW, and more specificly, Fort Wilderness, in June for 7 or 8 days. There will be six of us, Me, my wife, and two sons along with thier girlfriends. Bottom line, one bill payer. We have another family coming with us with thier RV who will have the same scenario.
1- How can I save some money buying 6, 4 or 5 day hopper passes.
2- If we plan on doing a day at Universal Studios, will one day be enough, or should we plan two?
3-It seems like I remember getting a break on the per night rate after a week or maybe the seventh day free at FW. Was that a dream?
4-The last time I was there and played golf, guest that were staying on site would get a big discount on green fees. Is that still the case?

Hi!

I'll try to answer a couple of your questions. A Hopper Pass is your best bet - I would start buying them now at your Disney Store. That way, you won't have to spend as much when you get there.

Universal can be done in one day if you only do one park. But, to do the whole thing, it would take 2-3 days, I think.

Unfortunately, there is no break on your 7th day. You have to pay everyday to get into the parks.

I'm not sure about the golf question - maybe someone else here knows?

Hi Giff,

1- discount hopper passes? There is not a big
discount on passes. You can get a Disney Club or
AAA discount if you belong either of these. The
discounts work out to about 5%. You can also try
ticketres on this site. You can get about the
same discount from them. There are not any "great"
discounts on tickets.

2- Universal? If you plan on doing IOA and Universal I would plan on 2 days.

3- I am not sure about a 7th day free (maybe
before my time) but you can get Disney Club, AAA,
Annual Pass and other rates. You have to be a
member of the organizations or have a annual pass
to get the discounts.

4- Golf discounts? I do believe there are
discounts but I think they are after a certain
time of day(say 11:00).

You may want to do searches for discounts on the
boards here. Also look at the budget board and
read post there.
