 Wondering if we should pack light jackets and sweaters for our Feb 1 western cruise???? Are the nights cool?? I have read that Castaway Cay can sometimes be cool in Jan and Feb,but most of the time it is pleasant. I am going to keep my fingers crossed for pretty warm weather. We will be leaving St.louis and so I am sure anything will be warmer than here in February. Thanks for any help you fellow cruisers can give. I know it is early, but I really get into this planning!!!!!

We took a 3 day cruise in February and it just so happened that a cool front had just went through! It was very cool early in the morning and late at night, but during the day the sun warmed up to normal. Ours was just a fluke! Hopefully that won't happen to ya'll and it will be great! We still had fun and still did the open air cabana massage at Castaway Cay. (Even though we froze!) I would do it again!

Instead of February, we go in early May now, when the weather is a little more predictable. It is a little hotter though.

Good luck!

thanks,

We have been to Mexcio twice in Jan and it seemed some nights were cool, but like you said the days were nice. I figure Key west and Castaway Cay may be the only two stops that could be cool. I do hope it is warm and I did hear that another" Elnino???" was coming and the US is supposed to have mild winter???? Who knows. You can not go by the weather people. I am sure May would be very pretty.

My Aunt and Uncle are going early November and so I am anxious to hear how it is then. I would think it would be nice.

We sailed in January and the only time I used my sweater was in the dining room! The weather was absolutely beautiful and would sail again that time of year in a heart beat! Days were in the upprer 80's and evening in the 70's. It was kind of weird coming back to work with a tan in January!

We sailed this past Feb 23 on the Eastern and Port Canaveral was cold and rainy. The ports were all warm even in the evening at sea. CC was about 77 degrees, but you only felt chilly when you came out of the water. If you were just sunning it was warm enough.
