Right back at you, hercamore! Hope you have a better one than Im having.
Margie, basically the short version is its just MIL problems, and DH knowing Im right, but not defending me to her, which is in turn getting me mad at him.
Sorry about your bad start! My DH is real bad about it too. Even tho every year I tell him it's important to me..
But I hope that you had a great time at Disney on Ice today!! (You are probably fighting the crowds to get out as I type this) We were at the 11:00 show and it was soooooo GREAT!
Here is a Bithday Wish just for you-----Happy Birthday----
Hope this will help you see the other side----Last year I forgot my own Birthday-----Now that is SAD. Family remembered ---I forgot--guess it was an age thing--I turned 50.
I like the idea about going shopping and sending Hubby the bill---Now get something nice from the kids too.
Oh. just a thought----They might be planning a surprise party--let Us know
Katie the only reason DH remembers my birthday is that it is a few days after his and Valentine's day falls in between both of our birthdays..........otherwise, I am sure he'd forget....
I have been reminding him lately (past 7 months) that I have a BIG one coming up this Feb. and DO NOT want a party........save the money and put towards a tropical vacation..........
Well, it got a little better, Im speaking to DH again, but barely. Its pretty bad when even he admits hes a total idiot. This may work to my advantage though. We have been throwing around the idea of a Disney trip next Christmas, probably coming home the 27th. Now he is saying we definitely should go and make it a little longer to be down thre for my birthday, coming home the 29th. I guess if anything can make this up to me, Disney can.

Oh, it was close to murder, trust me. I hope your DH learned an important lesson....forgetting something like a birthday will not only cause a big argument, but it will also hit you in the wallet when trying to make up. The funny thing is DH said he used to laugh at guys who would forget birthdays and anniversaries and wonder HOW anyone could do that. Now hes one of them!
I think adding a few days at Disney is a great idea. STop by and get yourself a birthday button and then everyone will remember your day. DH's can be frustrating. I sometimes think the only reason my remembers my birthday is that his is 2 days before
Here's to hoping your next birthday is a Magical one in the World!
