My reservations are for 2 people, but now a 3rd friend MAY go. She is thinking about it. Do I need to call ahead and send more money, or can I just let them know when we arrive? Also since we got such a great rate will that affect it at all or will they jsut tack on that $25.

Thanks

PS...im not promising that is really my last question ;)

See that I already told a fib ;)

If she goes she is gonna be there early...so now what is a better deal booking with that special they have right now for an economy @ $74 or would she do better booking with the american express card?

thanks

We've never had more than 2 adults, so I'm not sure if you have to let them know beforehand.

Which resort are you staying at & when are you going?

I went as the "add on" in 1999. I went with my mother and brother. Me and my 9m old daughter. They just tacked it on when we got there. It was not a problem at all.

We are going the end of May and staying 2 nts at AKL and 2 at BWI

We dont have any problem paying the extra money, I just dont want to be locked into it if she may not go. But if she does go Im guessing they wont let her into the room until I am there, so will they store her luggage until I get there?

They may let her into the room if you let them know.

A few years ago we were meeting my in-laws at the BWV. We were flying in and they were driving from Sarasota. Our flight was cancelled and we didn't get there until 3 hours later than we originally were going to arrive. I called the hotel from the airport and told them that they would be arriving early and if they could let them in to the room (room was in my name), let them know we were arriving late and give them a room card. They did, the card didn't have charging privilidge since they didn't have an imprint of my credit card. That was changed once we arrived.

So letting her into the room may not be a problem at all.

My mother went with us in October after we had already booked for just the 3 of my immediate family. When we arrived, I just told them to add an extra adult to the room and it was no problem at all.

As long as you aren't exceeding the max occupancy for the room, there shouldn't be any problem waiting until you check in to tell them about the extra adult. You may even get lucky if the CM decides to waive the extra adult charge. Sometimes they do.

If you add your friend's name to the reservation, she should be able to check in before you arrive. If you'd rather not do that, there shouldn't be any problem getting the hotel to hold her luggage until later. Bell Services will deliver it to your room within a few minutes of getting a call. (Sounds like you are staying at a deluxe. If you are at a moderate or value, it may take a little longer to get the luggage).

Enjoy the trip!
