I'm just really kinda creeped out and guess I'm just venting a bit.

As you may or may not know, I am a graphic designer, and work from home. Well, recently, I re-established a contact with an old business aquaintant, and he has asked me to revamp his web-site for him. So...I've been working on it pretty much exclusively for the last week.
To make a long story short, the woman who was working on his site before me, and had completed a total overhaul, was on flight 11, Sept. 11. I've recently found many of her files on this server and have had an intimate look at what she was working on for him. I haven't found the complete site she did, we believe it was lost that day.
Anyway....I'm just sort of creeped out because she completed the site in early September and perished on the 11th. The parallel I'm drawing, and I know it is totally out there...is I have trip planned for next month.
Am I the only one that finds this sort of creepy?
Probably....but thanks for reading.

{{{hugs}}}, Stephanie.

I can see where you would get weirded-out in this situation but I'm sure it's just all of those emotions operating overtime! Maybe you can take a break from the website until after your trip is over??

I can see why you'd be creeped out. The important part is that you know that it's really not rational. The only reason to worry about your sanity would be if you were convinced you were next.

The best advice I can give is to forgive yourself for perfectly normal fears and try not to think about it!

Try to see it as "I have an amzing chance to get to know this person a little even though no one else can."

I think it would be amazing to leave something behind that people could look at and say "Samantha did this and it is too bad she is gone..."

Feel blessed and see the positives from that person.
