cobbler - I called yesterday to check on cabin availability for October. (I was getting nervous!) Anyway I also had a very nice CM (Hector) and he said about the same thing. He said right now they are just in to September and October wouldn't come out for a couple of weeks. He didn't say if, he said when they come out I could call back and have the code applied to an exisitng reservation.

Sounds as if these two CM's said about the same thing (for a change!)

Let's go AP and Fl. Resident rates!!!:goodvibes

Well well, this sounds promising :teeth:

I just called too. The lady who was very sweet said they havent come out yet and she is almost positive they will but not sure when. Talk about keeping their answers together!

Hi,
I've been lurking. Recieved a post card in upper michigan today with rates supposedly good thru 12/19. Blackout dates of course. Called right away and no rooms available at CB for 10/10-10/15 with a discount. She thought maybe they had all been taken. Figures.

Come on Disney-bring on the AP rates-I need something constructive to do!!

I thrive on the planning, but without those rates I'm left to doing things like...looking at the new Disney Halloween catalog and teasing my husband that I'm going to buy him the adult Mickey Mouse costume (not trying to offend anyone-my husband is one of "those" who says he won't wear anything with a character on it, let alone dress up like a character!! )

I am so a planner also so I have been so glad to find this site to discuss my disney obsessions. My family thinks I am crazy until I tell them about the good deals I have found. That is if and when I find them. I have a lot of people tell me "how did you know that" and it is from reading posts from fellow trip goers and I would like to say thank you.

OK, I'm joining the rest of you. I just books flights in October. There better be some decent codes out soon or I will have to stay off site.

I'll join the wait, too. We have airline tickets for December 16 so I hope we get AP rates soon!! I was in Washington for the past week, so I thought for sure they'd come out while I was gone.....Good luck to everyone - I really appreciate this message board!!::yes::

Thanks for checking and posting. Maybe later today or tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who calls then takes the time to post. Maybe I'll take a turn calling soon!

I overslept today, so I just knew I would come here and find a rate posted.

Oh well, it is looking more and more like it will be the end of the month before they release anything.

Please excuse me if this is answered elsewhere - or point me in the right direction.

We're going to WDW in Nov and are considering purchasing annual passes. We live in Minnesota and have only been there once, but loved it. It looks like the APs would pay for themselves after about 6 days in the parks. What kinds of discounts do you get with the APs? I gather you have to wait until the discounts are announced - do all AP holders get the discount, or are there only so many available?

Many thanks from an AP newbie.

Susan

Nothing again today. Hoping its going to be very soon. The waiting is killing me. Do they usually release general public codes prior to releasing AP rates? Here's a little cheer for us:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi!
I don't post to often but I thought I'd share my recent experiences with the post card rates and see if it helps anyone else. My address received a post card in my 12 year old nieces name but to our address.
I called immediately and was told there were no rooms at all available at the post card rates for our days at CBR. I asked if we were eligable to use the card and she checked with a supervisor and the answer was yes as long as it was our address. Now, I called back after 9pm the same day and asked availability again, same answer, but they did have 1 room, I had been asking for 2. I split my rooms into 2 ressies and saved $300 for 5 nights. The next morning I called and asked for 1 room. Yes, it was available, for a total savings of $600 for 5 nights on 2 rooms. Don't give up on your post card!

Susan, Welcome to the Disboards!! We bought AP's for my family intending to take just one trip and they paid for themselves after the first trip in June. If ap rates are released for your dates, you should call as soon as possible and try to secure the resort you want for the dates that you want. You may or may not get your first choice, so be prepared with a second, third and maybe fourth room/view or resort choice. There are discounts for restaurants, mini golf, World of Disney Store in DTD. You can visit www.allearsnet.com/pl/apass.htm and get more details. It is well worth the money, but be warned, you will probably be going more than once - we are planning our 3rd trip on our AP. Where are those AP RATES?? :Pinkbounc
