They aren't tough to crack, they really don't know anything about when discounts will be coming out. If they say they do, they are just guessing or repeating rumors they heard.

Just like the travel agent who caused a pm frenzy in the other AP thread. They didn't know either.

I went to the track in Saratoga today, and I can liken this whole process of waiting for the AP rates to betting on a horse race...there are some "handicappers," who have some sort of a scoop on who might win, but know one knows for sure...

Let's go AP rates!! I'll put $2 on AP rates to come in soon!!

I'm getting a little worried about not getting an AP rate for our October stay, so I just called to get the AAA discount applied. They couldn't apply the discount to my reservation - already hit that quota.

Will the suffering never end?

The CM kind of paused when I asked about AP rates (just to be sure...). I thought maybe he was going to say, "Hey, they just came up!" But no. He just said to call back once a week to check on them. I said I would. (Yeah, once a day , not week!)

Oh well, had to vent. Thanks for listening.

We are booked at AAA rate right now and hoping AP will be better.

A CM I spoke with a few days ago said that AP rates will be released IF Disney projects the resorts will be below 90% capacity during Oct/Nov/Dec. Since I know a lot of people have ressies only in the hope of converting them to AP (or other) rates, I wonder what the big picture looks like to Disney right now?

Well maybe we should all cancel our ressies & they will release AP rates sooner, what do you think?

I can't believe my luck , I got my mail today and there it was...a sweet postcard from my friend Mickey. Called right away and of course, system was down. So, anticipation set in. I couldn't stand it anymore and I called an hour later even though the CM told me she would call me back. NO AVAILABLE ROOMS at CBR during my trip. I just got off the phone with the original CM 10PM and she couldn't find any room either for my trip. BOO HOO. I fished for info on AP's and she said SEPTEMBER! Oh my, now I have a migraine.
I do have AP's. Regretting buying them I think.
Question.... do they block rooms for AP's if they come out in October/November? What shot do I have now to get a room at 7AM when they do come out? I can't too much more. I could save close to 500 in savings.

there have been a LOT of them going around here. So think about it, all these people call and book their potential rooms and can have the room on hold up to 14 days. Many of them will not actually book, so I say, hold on to that card and keep trying! There are bound to be some people who don't cough up their deposits in time


And while I'm no longer waiting for rates/codes etc, I'm still here for the long haul and doin' my dance....

Well here is another story for everyone to ponder about.

Called today to add a room to my reservation, paying for a room for my dad to go. While on the phone asked a very nice CM, super helpful lady, about AP rates. She said usually they are out by now but they put on a lot of special offers for Sept so they haven't put out any AP rates for the time I am going (end of Nov into early Dec). Said that they aren't even into November yet, whatever that means

So I guess they should be coming soon. I got the impression from her that they would come out, its just a matter of when.

cobbler - I called yesterday to check on cabin availability for October. (I was getting nervous!) Anyway I also had a very nice CM (Hector) and he said about the same thing. He said right now they are just in to September and October wouldn't come out for a couple of weeks. He didn't say if, he said when they come out I could call back and have the code applied to an exisitng reservation.

Sounds as if these two CM's said about the same thing (for a change!)

Let's go AP and Fl. Resident rates!!!
