OK, Enough is enough!!!

All you people who put up election signs need to go take them down!! Winners or losers, I don't care. I have been looking at them for (what seems like) a year now, it's two weeks past the election, and I think it's time...Anybody agree with me?

I think if I had some form of potential litter that had my name on it for all the world to see, I would make sure it was properly disposed of.

Actually, I think she's talking about signs on the side of the road, right? Of course, I've been wrong before...

Some places have laws that if they are not removed in a certain amount of time that the campaign can get fined...for road side ones (public type places). In peoples yards...unless a home association does something I don't think much can be done.

Some here have "Thanks" placed on them. That seems nice, and very classy, but it's still several weeks later....I agree, they need to go!

LOL, you guys scared me...I had to go back to my OP and make sure I wrote "signs" and not "sigs"....Of course I would never demand that a part of someone's "sig" be removed...


I meant campaign signs on the roadways. The opponent that I despised the most (winner) kept his signs up for a week after the election with a thank you attached to them. That was appropriate and they are gone now...But some of these others...


I wish there was a way to hold the campaign accountable, but I think there would be an opportunity for opposing campaigns to sabbotage (sp), maybe by collecting some of the opponents signs, then putting them up after the grace period? I don't know, I am a devious thinker....
