Has anybody had their DISBOARD screen go from normal looking to a Christmas theme?

It's really strange, I go view the community board and it comes up all holiday themed and if I exit to another, it looks "normal" again. I wish it would make up its mind - LOL!! I actually like the holiday look but can't figure out why it won't stay that way or why it seems to be only associated with the community board.

The holiday theme has reappeared as a choice under themes (bottom left corner of the page), but I don't normally use it. And you have to select it to have it show, I never saw it appear by itself, as the OP seems to be saying!

There is also a holiday 'light' version, which isn't quite as boldly colored as the normal one!

Yup, it just happened to me. I just scrolled down and set it back to default.

No, did'nt choose it, it just appears and disappears as it wants. Really strange. I didn't even know about choosing a theme! Thanks for the info.

This is what happened for me as well. I did choose Holiday on purpose, and was probably on the Community Board at the time. It carried over to the Scrapbooking and Budget Boards, but not to the Family Board. - Even if I choose it there, nothing happens.

Not working on cruise, Disneyland or game boards either.
On those pages, it says default and won't switch to holiday, but go back here or Theme parks, etc and it works again.

Some posters have reported the board skin has changed for them, even though they didn't do anything.

Luckily, mine hasn't.

There are certain forums that have sponsors. For these forums, the skins are forced and they are not allowed to be changed. non-sponsor forums give you the ability to choose your own

For those that have them showing up automatically, it's most likely because they disabled that style last year and you had it chosen. When they disabled it, your theme reverted to default but the setting still remained for your account. Now that it's enabled, the system sees it's there and will choose it for you.

I changed it to Christmas when the MOD here flipped on the "switch". That was a couple of weeks ago.

I prefer DIScreet but that is no longer an option so I went to Christmas.

I've had it happen twice when I opened a thread on here the Community Board. The main forum page stayed on the default setting, but the posts page were holiday themed. I like the holiday backdrop, but I'm waiting til Friday to change it!

THe other day I looked for the Christmas theme after reading a thread asking abut it. Thanks for this thread. I switched to Holidays Light and LOVE it.
