Ohana didn't disappoint!

After reading some reports about how Ohana at the Polynesian has recently not lived up to expectations, I am pleased to say that after four years since my last visit it remains our ultimate fav! Man, I love that place.

Can you elaborate for those of us who haven't been there yet?

'Ohana is one of our favourites as well. We ate there two weeks ago and the food was fabulous. Some of our favourites where the Pork Dumplings, Chicken Wings and the noodles (just as good as the potatoes they were replacing). But our number one favourite is the Bread Pudding al a mode with Bananas Foster Sauce. It is the best dessert in WDW and by that I mean the Whole Darn World.

Happy to elaborate. Though I missed the potatoes, I thought the noodles were very good. There was nothing I didn't like and I tried everything. The steak was very very good. And the dessert! WOW! The atmosphere was enjoyable (with 5 adults in our party). If you have little ones, they will enjoy the entertainment. Our servers were prompt with the different kinds of meat and the wait staff were excellent. Just a grand experience. We also ate at Boma's, Prime Time Cafe, and spent a week on the Disney Magic. All of us felt that Ohana was our best dining experience including the cruise.

I've never had bad food at Ohana, just bad service. I do have an ADR for Feb09 and hope to get a table by the windows for Wishes.
