We'd like to have dinner and then watch the fireworks from the beach. I'm aware that we'll miss the castle projections but this is a relatively short trip (4 1/2 days and DD will be running the Princess half on one of them.) so we're limited with what we can do.

Which would you choose?

Thanks!

I'd go with the earlier. If you're not seated on time at 6:55, you won't make the beach and will be at the mercy of where you're seated inside. Heck, even if seated on time with that later ADR.

If HEA is at 8, then definitely go with the earlier one for the best chance to get to the beach. I have only been to Ohana twice and both times I was not sat until at least 20 minutes after my reservation time.

Definitely earlier time! The 1st time we ate there we were sat 45 min after our reservation time. Yes, we did show up the 15 min early as directed by Disney dining. However, once sat we were put right by the window with great fireworks viewing (which we didn’t request). The food was so good it became a must do for my husband. The last time we went the wait was much better at 15 min.
