Oh the Pressure to do a PTR -- We're Home & Surprise Video up on Facebook

I am so sorry. I hope your family is able to find some peace in this challenging time

I just read the last couple of updates on your MIL. I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out for you guys.

I promise I will get to individual responses (and to all of your threads I am following).

Mark has talked to the nurses and the doctor is calling him this afternoon. We do know that the cancer is also in her liver too.

We are going to Dubuque on Monday to see the kids (they bought a house!!!!) and will stop at the hospital on the way. Mark has decided whether his mother wants to see him or not, he is going...she can always throw him out.

Here's the house -- we are so excited for the kids and can't wait to see the house in person.

continued prayers Kathy, so sorry to hear it has spread
hope Mark will be able to visit with his mom and have some time together :goodvibes

the house is so cute, a sweet place for them to start their married life together, looks like a little doll house...love the deck area!

What a cute little house your kids found! It looks awesome with the large porch.

Sorry to hear the news about Mark's mom. I really hope she will be happy he visits with her and they will have some quality time together.

The house is so cute! I hope you are able to enjoy your visit with all of the MIL stuff going on.

Oh, Kathy....I'm so sorry things are not going better for Mark's mon - praying she will welcome him and they can at least have this visit as a treasured memory.

I saw your post about the kids house on FB, but did not see a photo - looks so nice! Looking forward to hearing all the details after you see it in person. Congrats to them!

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Mark's mom. Hopefully, she won't turn him away & they can have some quality time together.

The house is adorable! They have to be very excited! :goodvibes

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about Mark's mom. Keeping your family in my thoughts. :goodvibes

Oh Kathy, I am so sorry to hear all the news about your MIL. I hope that the visit goes well, I can only imagine she doesn't want her children to see her like this, your visit and support I'm sure is appreciated and felt even if it may not seem that way at the time. You are all in my prayers.

And congrats to the kids on the house, it's adorable!

My Prayers continue!

I LOVE the house, just perfect for starting their lives together forever!!

Still praying for your family!

Grats to them on the house! It's adorable!!

Kathy - I am so sorry to hear that your MIL's prognosis is so poor. I am even more sorry to hear that she and Mark are not on good terms. That is heartbreaking and I hope it can be resolved. The decision to have palliative chemo can be difficult. It sounds like your MIL may be an excellent candidate for hospice care is she does not want to continue with chemo/radiation. Thinking of you during this difficult time!

On a brighter note, I absolutely love the house the kids picked out. It is adorable! :goodvibes

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about Mark's mother prognosis and her attitude toward's Mark right now. All he can do is do what he thinks is best and if that means going to see his mom and her throw him out, then that's what he's got to do. At least he will now that he's tried.

On to happier news, I know that the kids (yep, we still call 'em kids no matter how old they get ;)) are super excited about the house. It looks really nice!
