Oh the Pressure to do a PTR -- We're Home & Surprise Video up on Facebook

My computer is still crashed so no update or replies...sorry.

Visit with Mark's mom did not go well...very sad.

Had great and expensive visit with kids...bought them vacuum, pots and pans, slow cooker. Cookie sheets, roasting pan and a Cubs gnome for front porch.

I'm so sorry things did not go better with Mark's mom. Continue to hold her, and all, near in heartfelt prayer.

As for house shopping - that gnome sounds like the most important purchase! :thumbsup2

I might have missed it, but did they set a date yet? No doubt Shower planning is in the works? :goodvibes So much fun! Very happy you and Mark have something happy happening in the family during this sad time with Mark's mom.

I'm so sorry the visit didn't go well with MIL:hug:

On the bright side, the house looks adorable and it was nice that you could visit the kids and help get them started on the never ending list of household items they will need.

Hi Kathy :wave2: I don't have any special words of wisdom for you...just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you still! :flower3:

:yay::yay: my Miss Camille is here. I definitely think you should do a PTR...you'd have lots of readers, and I would definitely be there.

Whew! Finally caught up!! I read every page, not like Glenn who only skims. :rolleyes1 Just messin with ya Glenn, you know I think the world of ya! :thumbsup2

First of all I just wanted to extend my love and support through this tough time, I too understand a parent who's going through a tough physical condition and doesn't want us around. :sad2: Also, thank you for the warm welcome you really know how to make someone feel special. And third, thank you for saying you'd read my report. You're so sweet.

And slushies...oh honey there are going to be TONS of slushies and cocktails! Disney is my drinking place..and laughing place...and everything else place!

I was just thinking it might be wise for our men to get those kiddie leashes for us so we dont get lost LOL!

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I TOTALLY see why y'all are besties!!! Nicki is my kind of gal!!

Yay for Coronado! It looks beautiful. If I could be sure there were no conventions going on when I wanted to go, I would book it in a heartbeat! We will be making a resort hop stop there this July. Probably to have lunch since I hear great things about the food there :)

Never let the conventions get in the way of you wanting to stay there. That's honestly the best time to be there, they don't take up room on the buses, you almost never see them so the resort seems less crowded at any given time and they aren't filling up your pool. :thumbsup2 When we last went we only saw a few people there for the convention and only because we were right outside the main area they were in.

The conventioners never bothered me. If nothing else, it makes me smile knowing that they'll be in a conference room listening to a sales pitch while I'm riding Splash Mountain :)

See! ::yes::

So excited to be "going home."

:goodvibes You know I love it there :cloud9:, so no arguments from me!

Question for you all????

Do I do one PTR with both trips or two seperate PTR's?

I'd say one, but I don't want to go against your bestie, she wants two. LOL

Okay, I've kept you all in suspense long enough.

And the winner is.......................................................

Day3093.jpg
:cool1:

Wow, and all he gets is this one little Birthday trip??? :confused3

He deserves a WHOLE lot more than that.......... :rolleyes1

:sad2: Just hit him with a 2X4 when he gets out of line, Ms. Kat. Pat and I do all the time. ::yes::

I know I owe many responses and an update, and I apologize and promise to get to it soon.

Thanks for all the prayers and I'll try to respond and update tonight while Mark is at his mom's.

You don't owe anything, everyone here loves you and supports you, Ms. Kat. You just take care of yourself and hubby first and then what ever comes along needing your immediate attention. Everything else can wait.

Sounds like your time with your Mark and Alisha went well, even if it left you little more broke than from before. I thought all those things are what you get for gifts when you get married? I guess now you won't have to do much shopping for the wedding!

Oh, good to know. Actually now that you say that...it really makes sense! Thanks so much for that advice, now it is definitely on my short list. Just have to hit WL and AoA first :thumbsup2

I think I am in the right place to start responses. If I miss someone, please forgive me. And thank you for your patience. I am going to do all of my responses and then I will try to do an update tonight or tomorrow. I think I'm hesitating on an update becasue I truly don't know if the trip will go off or not...it will all depend on what is going on with my MIL.

Not yet. Have sent several emails and my renter isn't responding. I'm pretty upset. :(

Tracy, I know that things have changed and all I can say is I am delighted.

Sounds like a nice relaxing arrival day :) I am so excited to try EoS....what was that sandwich, do you remember?? Yum!

I had the original...very tasty.

Yay for 2 trips! And yay for me sitting through and reading all 15 pages at once! Good thing no one from work is on here :p. And YAY for Markie! And YAY for...well, everything really.

I'll write more eventually, but it's lunch time!

Ok, back from lunch and editing rather than posting again...

Day 1 sounds great. I so wish I could have the discipline to save up to rent points somewhere. Unfortunately, this is impossible for me to do :(, so Mods are pretty much my future WDW trips (villas are WAY too pricey via cash).

Let's see what other plans you have, maybe we'll bump into each other again :). Erm, assuming I'm not changing mine...

Edit: Ok, that assumption... yeah, you may have seen on my PTR, but I did end up changing my dates :(. At least I DID get FQ though, which was my first choice of resorts! And I get to hang out on Epcot's 30th birthday, and I get to experience F&W drunkenness (not by me, but others)

Temporary DIS Sig due to me being bad in TPAS
Active TRs:
Sept 2012 PTR: Learning to NOT Photograph Fireworks Behind Trees
Sept 2011 TR: New Camera? Sounds like a perfect excuse for another Disney trip!

Allan, I am so happy you found me and came over.

I know you got POFQ and I'm very happy as I know that was your first choice (not that you don't love our "home--CSR!").

Just poppin' in to say Hi!!!

Hi, Rosie.

You must be so proud of Mark. That's such an awesome thing he's doing for Alex!
How awesome that you are doing a surprise anniversary trip in December!!! Now I have 2 TRs to look forward to! :goodvibes

Thanks, April. The t-shirts were put on hold; unfortunately, Alex's younger brother ended up having similar symptoms and they are waiting for his final test results in case they have to add both boys to the shirts. :sad1:

Thanks for The CSR bus scoop! I was worried with a big resort there might be issues.

No problem..it really isn't an issue at all.

We are hoping for this September - probably the 7th through the 11th - to surprise Jordan for her 9th birthday. However, DH started his own business almost a year ago and things have been a little rocky so it will all come down to finances.

Darn...we will miss you by a few days. :sad2:

Two! Your PTR is busy enough without having two trips to keep track of!

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Woo-hoo for OKW! Your first day plans sound perfect! We tried EOS for the
first time last month and loved it. AKL will be great for your 30th.

Thank you...I love OKW.

That is great that Mark is up to so much money so far! You know I think what he is doing is great! I can't wait to hear the final total!

Couldn't be more proud of my son in so many respects.

I will definitely have to try and visit Ghiradelli's in September!

Those comments from Mark must have made your heart melt! I don't have kids myself yet, but speaking as a kid We probably don't tell our parents/grandparents how much of an impact they had on us. You should definitely give yourself a pat on the back!

Mark has turned into quite the young man.

Lots of good thoughts and healing pixie dust on the way, Kathy! Prayers said too! :)

Oh wow my friend, sending lots of love and prayers and  for Mark's Mom, and for you and Mark!!!

Hopefully she will get good news Friday!!!

I'll definitely keep her in my prayers!

Kathy, She will be in my thoughts and prayers as well as all of you who love her. Elaine

Prayers and good healing thought for your MIL, Mark and you Kathy.

So Sorry Kathy , my prayers are with her and you all !!:flower3:

My thoughts, too, are with you all.

sending prayers

Thank you all for the prayers.

so sorry to hear this....sending prayers and hugs

So sorry to hear this. Prayers being said for all of y'all.

many prayers for your family.

Holding all in heartfelt prayer, Kathy.

Thank you all.

Kathy, I am so late for this PTR! We were in FL (St Pete area) last week and am just catching up now..read through page 9 :) and will get back later to read the rest - although it could be 5 more pages by then! Really don't want to have to skim!!

I just love your PTR's and TR's and though I don't post much, do read and enjoy!:goodvibes

Unless there have been changes since page 9 - OKW for Sept and CSR for December - fabulous! Cannot wait for the big Dec surprise PTR/TR and Nicki's dining! What fun to look forward to!:yay:

Christine, no worries about being late...I said this would be SLOW moving and it sure has been.

Yes, OKW for September and CSR for December. Nicki and I are busy plotting for December.

I saw your post about your MIL on FB, I'm so very sorry, she will be in my prayers

Thank you all so much...you don't know how much it means to us.

Loved your arrival day plans! Looks great! I love EoS!

Your DS is truly one of a kind! That is very impressive of him taking the initiative to raise funds to help the family! It's a VERY touching story (thankfully I had a kleenex nearby!).

Praying for your MiL. Keep us updated!

Thank you, I'm very happy with our arrival day plans.

The son amazes me all the time.

Thank you for the prayers.

Mark has such a gracious heart! Praying for this young wrestler and his family.

I've been praying for you mil since I saw your fb status. Will be praying even more so for Friday.

Miracles do happen! My dad was diagnosed with a huge brain tumor a couple summers ago. When they went in to remove it, it ended up not even being a tumor. It was the most bizaare thing, but we counted it as a miracle, a huge blessing! My dad is a walking miracle times two, as he also survived a brain aneurysm with no ill effects 25 years ago, after given just hours to live! May your mil have that kind of supernatural healing!

Thanks, Tink. Unfortunately, things are not going well...we will see how it plays out the next couple of weeks.

Okay. I've been missing for soooo long. Finally finished up the last TR. Got caught up over here. Jealous that you'll be at OKW, again, in September. I really wanted that for this past April but, nothing was available. We did fall in love with SSR though.

I was going to fall off the couch if you said you were staying at CBR since we'll be checking in on the 16th. I didn't even try for OKW again since this trip upcoming trip was supposed to be at BWI (that's how I bribe DH. Walking distance from Epcot) but that fell through. So I had to go with the deal I got for CBR.

You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers since I saw your FB post. And you'll stay there as long as needed. :)

Now I hope I can stay on task here. Boards seem to be running a little quicker since I was last here.

But you are here now...and I am thrilled. If our trip stays on, we'll have to try to say hello somewhere.

Thanks for the prayers.

Sorry to read about Mark's mom. I'll be keeping her and all of you folks in my prayers.

I must have missed your FB post about your MIL, Kathy! Thinking you and your family.

Keeping Mark's mom in my prayers Kathy.

You asked about our two trips, we are heading to Disneyland on the 10th for our 20th anniversary. So exicted to stay at the newly refurbed Disneyland Hotel, then going to WDW in October over the kids fall break.

Tell Mark Happy Father's day! Dan, Maria and I will be in Chicago next summer (she is actually there right now visiting with my brothers family lucky kid) and I hope we can meet up, it would be so great to see you guys!

Thanks all for the prayers.

First, to you both. Second, resorts are booked. See you at OKW, baybee, God willing!! I can't wait to give you a real hug. xox

I'm so glad you were able to get OKW...and I hope we do get to meet (hope I don't have to cancel the surprise trip).

All caught up Kathy! I'm keeping your MIL & little Alex in my thoughts. And sending pixie dust to you & your family! pixiedust:

Your resort choices sound perfect to me! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Amy.

Hi Kathy! I found my way over to the pre-trip board to share in all the excitement and anticipation with others and found a familiar name! So sorry about your MIL and resulting issues....but the joy of seeing your son engaged and his new home must bring a warmth to your heart. :goodvibes

Continuing to pray for you MiL. Please keep us updated the best you can -- just take care of your family first! :grouphug:

 hope things work out okay for you guys.

There is absolutely no reason to apologize.

I'm so sorry to hear what all is going on with Mark's mom. It has to make the situation so much harder with her not wanting to cooperate. I hope that Mark & his sister can get through to her tonight. I will continue to keep her in my prayers as well as you, Mark & his entire family.

sorry Mark's mom is not doing well, Mark and Dona are doing the right thing and getting there to get things figured out.....they should just go to the neighbors and get phone #s, hope they can convince them to do the PoA, they need to be able to have the ability to make decisions for them both.

continued prayers for you all and that your MIL doesn't have too hard of a time with the chemo....and that Mark can keep calm, they can only do so much for their folks.

:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

Oh Kathy! The news just keeps getting worse doesn't it. I home that the kids will be able to talk some sense into their mother. Keeping you all in my prayers.

Kathy, I'm so sorry. I hope Mark and Dona can work things out with his mom. If PoA is a no go, I sure hope she will include them in all the medical records. My mom and dad had to fill out paperwork so that I can call the doc, hospital, etc. and be able to get info on my dad. Will especially pray for Mark and his heart.

((hugs)) and prayers today! I hope treatment goes well and that Mark and Dona can get through to her. Take care of Mark and yourself - we need you two to stay healthy!

Kathy you don't owe us anything  Your focus is with your family right now and I'm sure everyone here totally understands that.

It sounds like your MIL has already given up :sad2: I hope and pray that Mark and his sister are able to reason with her tonight.

 I'm so sorry for all that you and Mark are going through. I hope that your MIL starts to accept help soon. I will be keeping your family in my prayers.

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about the struggles of Mark's mom. My parents are going through something similar with my grandmother, and I can just imagine how taxing it is when they won't take what we think are obvious steps to improve their quality of life. I hope the treatments go well and that your family will be able to care for her. :goodvibes

Kathy,

I'm so sorry Mark, you and his family have to go through this. I work in Radiation/Oncology and yes with stage 4 lung cancer they pretty much give chemo and radiation for palliative purposes only.

I wouldn't push your MIL to much, she has to be going through so many emotions right now. I'm thinking she doen't want her family to see her like this. Support her no matter what her decision is. Knowing that you care and love her is what she needs right now.

Prayers being said for all of you during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear this. ((hugs))

Oh Kathy! Definitely still praying for you MiL and your family! So sorry to hear of the news, but hopefully she'll get strong and the chemo will help! :grouphug:

So sorry to hear this Kathy....hope the hospital stay will give her some strength and her insulin levels back to normal.
is someone other than your FIL going to the appts with them? at least you could get correct info.

I don't mean to scare you, but want to share this with you...
my MIL was diagnosed in 2005 with stage 4 lung cancer and had spread already to her bones and liver- she hadn't gone to the doctor for over 20 years and had been a 2 pack a day smoker for over 40 years, she refused to try and quit smoking for years, the day after she was diagnosed she went on the "patch" which was too little to late...they never did treatment, just kept her comfortable... she passed 3 1/2 months later with my FIL, BIL and Jim at her side, Jim flew up and was there about 2 hours before she passed.

hope whatever decisions they make she can be pain free and you all can spend time with her....continued prayers and lots of :hugs:

so sorry Kathy! But I am glad Mark finally got some answers so you know what you are dealing with. Take care of yourselves!

So sorry to hear the bad news, Kathy.
I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks all...you guys are the best! :thumbsup2

 I'm so sorry, Kathy.

I will keep y'all in my thoughts & prayers.

Forgive me Kathy, I have been so wrapped up in my own soap opera, I didn't realize your MIL was so ill.

Praying for you all and peace for Mark!

Was hoping for better news for your MIL. Will continue to keep your Mil and your family in my prayers.

Oh I'm so sorry Kathy, I was hoping for good news (obviously) Keeping you and your family in my thoughts!

Kathy, I'm afraid all I can offer you and your family is more good thoughts and prayers. So, so sorry for the prognosis I do hope that what time your mother-in-law has left (none of us know the future) is filled with laughter, good times and love. Elaine

Kathy you are in my thoughts and prayers !! 16 years ago my MIL died of brain cancer that had spread from lung cancer a few years before !!It is heartbreaking to watch and exhausting , I spent every lunch time with her and also many nights !! I don't regret 1 single minute of that time , she was able to pass at home surrounded by her loved ones !!

Kathy you, Mark and both his parents are in my prayers. That is never an easy place to be in, I went through a lot of this with my own mom and its very stressful to feel like your help isn't wanted. Hopefully she will relent and adjust to the help you and Mark and ready and willing to give (which is what my mom did). In any case, hang in there my friend!

I am so sorry. I hope your family is able to find some peace in this challenging time

Joining in. I am so sorry to hear about your MIL. My prayers are with her and your family for some peace.

 Thinking of you... xo

I just read the last couple of updates on your MIL. I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out for you guys.

continued prayers Kathy, so sorry to hear it has spread
hope Mark will be able to visit with his mom and have some time together :goodvibes

the house is so cute, a sweet place for them to start their married life together, looks like a little doll house...love the deck area!

What a cute little house your kids found! It looks awesome with the large porch.

Sorry to hear the news about Mark's mom. I really hope she will be happy he visits with her and they will have some quality time together.

The house is so cute! I hope you are able to enjoy your visit with all of the MIL stuff going on.

So sorry to hear that the cancer has spread.

Love the house! Have a great time visiting.

Thank you all. The best part of the day was seeing the kids excitement over the house.

Oh, Kathy....I'm so sorry things are not going better for Mark's mon - praying she will welcome him and they can at least have this visit as a treasured memory.

I saw your post about the kids house on FB, but did not see a photo - looks so nice! Looking forward to hearing all the details after you see it in person. Congrats to them!

Thank you.

Found your PTR and subbing... going back to read it all now!

Tam, I am so glad you found me and joined in.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Mark's mom. Hopefully, she won't turn him away & they can have some quality time together.

The house is adorable! They have to be very excited! :goodvibes

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about Mark's mom. Keeping your family in my thoughts. :goodvibes

Oh Kathy, I am so sorry to hear all the news about your MIL. I hope that the visit goes well, I can only imagine she doesn't want her children to see her like this, your visit and support I'm sure is appreciated and felt even if it may not seem that way at the time. You are all in my prayers.

And congrats to the kids on the house, it's adorable!

Love you. xo

My Prayers continue!

I LOVE the house, just perfect for starting their lives together forever!!

Still praying for your family!

Grats to them on the house! It's adorable!!

Prayers going up !!!

Kathy - I am so sorry to hear that your MIL's prognosis is so poor. I am even more sorry to hear that she and Mark are not on good terms. That is heartbreaking and I hope it can be resolved. The decision to have palliative chemo can be difficult. It sounds like your MIL may be an excellent candidate for hospice care is she does not want to continue with chemo/radiation. Thinking of you during this difficult time!

On a brighter note, I absolutely love the house the kids picked out. It is adorable! :goodvibes

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about Mark's mother prognosis and her attitude toward's Mark right now. All he can do is do what he thinks is best and if that means going to see his mom and her throw him out, then that's what he's got to do. At least he will now that he's tried.

On to happier news, I know that the kids (yep, we still call 'em kids no matter how old they get ;)) are super excited about the house. It looks really nice!

So sorry Kathy...No need to even think about replying here.

Yay for the house though. it's nice to have a little happiness thrown in.

Thank you all. The prayers continue to help us through this. I told Mark that DIS friends are the best!

I'm debating posting pictures of the inside house or waiting until they are moved in and have their own stuff in it.

I'm sorry about your MiL. Everything you've described is almost identical to what my DW's grandmother went through. She started off with lung cancer that spread to her liver also and was so tired DW's grandpa was placing folding chairs about every 10 feet through the house so she could sit down and rest. She went through treatments and it helped her regain strenth and survived for about 4 years after her diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer. She had a pretty good quality life and was even back to working outside in her garden after they got her on chemo. She just had this mental image of herself that she thought she was sick and frail and would never go out in public because she didn't want people to see her. She wouldn't even go to any of her grandchildren's weddings, even though she was able.

Anyway, I'm sorry you're having to deal with this, but unfortunately I understand what you're going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Andy, thanks for the words. I'll give an update on MIL later, but your wisdom helped.

Hey Kathy hope you are well :goodvibes: I'm sorry to hear about your MiL and am thinking of you

Woohoo on starting a new PTR! Love the intro pics and am looking forward to hearing all the plans :)

Welcome, Tanz. I'm so happy you found me. I hope you enjoy.

Been thinking of you all....hope the visit with your MIL and move to the nursing home went well.

know you had a wonderful visit with Markie and Alisha, can't wait to see more photos of their new home :goodvibes

continued prayers for you all

Kathy,

Don't have any words of wisdom. Just thinking of you guys. I'm glad to hear the news about young Mark's new house!

Congrats on the new house. Saw the pictures on fb and it looks darling! They look very happy too!

Sorry about your MIL. I hope you most recent visit went well.

Hey Kathy, just stopping by to say hi and give you one of these ,

I am sorry to hear the visit did not go well.

At least your visit with the kids went well...even if it was a spendy one. ;)

Aw, (((hugs))) Kathy. I know the feeling with my MIL but she has dementia. Her fits of rage are very painful to experience. I feel for you all. Lots of love.

I'm sorry to hear that the visit with your mother-in-law didn't go well. You'd think that she'd want to cling to her family in times like this.

I know all about those expensive trips to see the kids. We want to buy them anything and everything they need.

sorry the visit didn't go well with your MIL

nice house warming gifts for the kids, you are a sweet mama :goodvibes

So sorry things didn't go well with your MIL.

What a great mom to get all those needed things for them!

So sorry the visit did not go well.

So glad that you had a great visit with the kids! They're going to have an amazing house furnished by you!

So sorry to hear things didn't go well. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

It must have been very exciting to do some "new home" shopping with the kids!!

So sorry the visit with your MIL did not go well!
Glad that you had some fun with the kids even though it was expensive fun!

Kathy, I am so sorry that things are not going well with your MIL. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

I'm glad you got to have a nice visit with the kids and see their new house, it looks adorable!

I am so sorry to read this Kathy; however, wanted you to know I am still here and still praying. for EVERYTHING that is going on!

Oh dear.....prayers for your family.

I know what you mean. I have 2 grown and i want to help them as much as I can, but I can't afford everything I want to do for them

So sorry to hear about Mark's mom. :grouphug:

And :yay: for the house!

Sorry the visit didn't go well:hug:Nice gifts for the kids !!!:cloud9:

I'm so sorry the visit didn't go well with MIL:hug:

On the bright side, the house looks adorable and it was nice that you could visit the kids and help get them started on the never ending list of household items they will need.

Hi Kathy :wave2: I don't have any special words of wisdom for you...just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you still! :flower3:

stopping by to give you these

:hug::hug::hug:

Thank you all for the continued prayers.

Thanks, Camille.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: I TOTALLY see why y'all are besties!!! Nicki is my kind of gal!!

She really is my bestie, and we are like two peas in a pod.

:goodvibes You know I love it there :cloud9:, so no arguments from me!

We love it there too.

I'd say one, but I don't want to go against your bestie, she wants two. LOL

I think I'm going to keep it as one (I can't even keep up with this one ;))

:sad2: Just hit him with a 2X4 when he gets out of line, Ms. Kat. Pat and I do all the time. ::yes::

Marv needs a LOT of supervision.

Thank you.

Just stopped in to say Hi Kathy and let you know I was thinking of you!:hug:

Thanks, I think of you and the family every day too.

Hi Kathy! I found my way over to the pre-trip board to share in all the excitement and anticipation with others and found a familiar name! So sorry about your MIL and resulting issues....but the joy of seeing your son engaged and his new home must bring a warmth to your heart. :goodvibes

I'm so glad you were hanging around the PTR Board and found me. Thank you so much for joining in...I am absolutely thrilled to have you here. :goodvibes

Thank you for the thoughts on my MIL; the kids are super excited and we are as excited for them. We love Alisha and Mark could NOT have chosen better.

Thank you all. The prayers continue to help us through this. I told Mark that DIS friends are the best!

I'm debating posting pictures of the inside house or waiting until they are moved in and have their own stuff in it.

Or... You could post both! We could see a "before" and "after" effect! :woohoo:

Okay...you win...I'll post the before pictures and then when they move in and decorate, I'll post the after pictures.

I second that! ;)
Glad to have you back, Kathy!

Yes, Karin, I can see you second that. :lmao::lmao:

Thank you for the welcome back. Despite all that is going on, we need to have a life and I'm back to my DISing!

They also have a finished, full basement with three separate rooms. The first room as you enter will be the "bar" or "party" room; the second room will be Mark's wrestling room where he'll run his private lessons--wrestling mat and all; the third room is the whole length of the wall opposite the first two rooms and is where the laundry facilities are, work area (yeah, like my son is handy :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:).

Alisha will use the spare bedroom as her "work" room -- she does a lot of crafts and scrapbooking and they will put a sleeper sofa in there for when they have company.
