Does anyone know any Scientologists in person? My neighbors have slowly gotten more and more into it. It makes me sad too b/c the more they get into it the more the mom seems to be moving away from her friends.

I cannot imagine how Katie's parents must feel. To watch your daughter get sucked into this and not be able to do anything about it. To know that your Granddaughter is being brought up in an environment that is so vastly different from their Faith (because I do not believe for one nanosecond that you can be Catholic and a Scientologist).

This is a man who was running from the goverment, and a washed up science fiction writer, whom according to his namesake - JR, claimed he dabbled in black magic and satanism. Who on earth would even CONSIDER worshipping him. He is a "MAN" - a human being!!!! Its disturbing, IMO.

I do not. (Thank GOD!) I searched Churches in Illinois - and theres only 3.... **phew***

But her moving away from her friends is exactly what happen. They encourage them to do this. Stay away from the SP's!!! (allegedly, IMO cuz the SP's will snap you out of it!!!)

I was watching The Soup tonight, and they intro'd a clip from Inside Edition. They said Inside Edition found a video of Tom accepting an award for Scientology because.....they must have a death wish!!!!!

It was pretty funny. Everyone is beginning to learn they'll allegedly just knock you off, if need be.

TMZ had a a snippit on how one of their camera man asked a rapper what he thought of Tom and the rapper (forget who it was, I am not that familiar with popular rappers) ws all "hey, he ok by me, I ain't sayin' nothin'" and TMZ said "He said that because "He knows what's good for his career, AND HIS HEALTH!"

There was a post a waaaaaaays back, discussing the fact that Penelope Cruz claimed to have seen the baby (when Katie's parents hadnt!) but they quoted her as saying something along the lines of "She's Amazing" (of course) but then quoted her as saying something like 'thats all I can say, I have tp protect my family and loved ones' or something BIZZARRRRRE like that.

There's a girl at work. Her friend had a baby - I asked her if she saw her. She had, and told me how cute she was, etc etc...said nothing about not being able to discuss the matter any further due to protection of her family.

I wonder if they still have her drinking from a bottle in public all the time so that she looks younger than she is? My youngest was due at the end of April (born in March though) and looks much younger than Suri. DH is over 6' and I'm just under, yet she's not as long as Suri appears. Though, Suri is being carried by some small people so objects in the pictures may be smaller than they appear.
