Oh me, oh my-does baby Suri really exist???update now aka "The Suri Challenge"

She looks like my sister as a baby with the hair and eyes. We always used to comment on how my sister looked Asian and our parents are white. If you see her now and a baby picture, you would not think they where the same person.

When my niece was born 28 years ago, she looked really, really asian around her eyes. We knew she was "ours" but I'll tell you, even today, she has a very exotic look to her. She is beautiful.

However, Suri does look more like Chris Klein than either Tom or Katie. Plus, that hair...there is no way that is hers. I really think it is a wig. One of the pictures really does show light hair underneath. What the heck are they thinking????

On the morning radio talk show I was listening to on the way to work today, they were talking about how fake her hair looked and one of the guys wondered if her hair was dyed.

A couple of the others thought it was a wig.

At first it did look like there was blonder hair under the dark hair. But looking at the pictures up close, it appears to be just the way the light hits her head.

Eventually, it will have to come out that Cruise is not the biological father. Maybe this fact will be Katie's way out.

I must be in the minority because I'm not a Tom lover and I really don't care either way but I think that baby looks like a pretty good mix of Tom & Katie...especially Katie. I don't really see Chris Klein features.

Ya know, that would make sense since they had all these quotes from fellow Kool-aid drinkers that she had "head full of dark hair" I can hear TC now...."OK - we have secured a baby - needs a wig to go along with the story"

Also, who ws the quote from that said the baby had CURLY dark hair? What? They couldn't find a curly dark baby mullet wig?

If you put a wig on a baby surely they he/she would pull it right off. They are always grabbing stuff.

So lets do a poll, do you all think she is "amazing, and just absolutely the most beautiful baby you have ever seen"? I'm looking for the gloriousness and the miraculousness....but I don't see it. It's a baby, they all look the same, unless you put a wig on them that is.

I think she is cute and I think she is probably the most miraculous thing to Katie. My daughter was the most beautiful and amazing thing to me too. I thought she was the cutest baby on Earth. I'm sure other mothers would disagree.

I was referring to the comments on this post many pges ago about how we noticed every celebrity reported to have seen the baby (all Scientologists mind you - aka brainwashed cult members) they all used the same words to decribe Suri. "Amazing. Most beautiful baby, I'v ever seen in my life" Even people like Jada Pinket Smith and Leah Remini who have their own kids! Who would say that someone elses baby was "the most beautfiul" wouldn't that hurt your kids feelings? We thought it sounded scripted. And Katie (oops Kate's) comments sounded like they were written by the same script writer.....

That is one BIG baby, and what's with the wig? How strange. I am going with the theory that she is adopted, is older than 4 months, and it took them this long to get the baby. I hope mine don't come out looking that strange!

The first pictures of Suri appeared in Vanity Fair magazine today, and on the CBS Evening News last night, and our initial analysis of the long-awaited pictures has led us, and more than a few casual and professional observers, to the same conclusion -- that somewhere in the gene pool of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, some Asian influence has crept in. (As Jossip cheekily posits, "In six years, Vanity Fair will have the story about why Suri has Lucy Liu's eyes."

The delicate, almond-shaped eyes, the milky, pale-ish skin tone, the striking mane of dark, dark hair -- these are the characteristics that has pointed us down this line of inquiry. (It should be noted that, yes, babies tend to look fairly like one another at this early stage, but still.) As far as we can determine, there isn't any Asian blood in either Tom or Katie's family, but there that doesn't mean some Far Eastern seed hasn't seeped in somewhere along the way.

Of course, if her parents were really Asian at all, they'd probably have taken into consideration that Suri means "pickpocket" in Japanese. That wouldn't be such an auspicious beginning.

Ok we need confirmation of Chris Kliens amout of Asian blood. My friend is 1/4 japanese, and all her siblings and her parents look totally American, but the almond shaped eyes popped up on her.

Nope, my babies were the most amazing and beautiful babies I have ever seen. I would never say that about someone else's baby. I would say they were cute or pretty but not amazing and most beautiful. (and if the baby belonged to an ex of mine I'd probably not comment at all)

And all babies are a miracle as far as I'm concerned so of course Katie (oopps me too! I mean Kate) would say that. But gloriousness, is that even a real word?
