Could it be possible that that really IS a "wig"? It does look very fake and I am wondering if they would have done it on purpose, thinking no one would question it to "protect" the baby from publicity somehow?

I don't know... that baby is awfully big for 4 months old, she does look Asian and she does look like Chris Klein. And Katie looks already pregnant in that white dress. It just all doesn't add up.
I know she is an innocent baby and all that (& beautiful too --w/o the wiggy hair), but I just don't think their story is on the up and up. Of course, I dislike Tom Cruise and what he has become, so maybe I am biased.
Time will tell, maybe. And maybe we will never know. However, I have a hard time believing their relationship will last.

A) Where is Cathryn Rose?! Doesn't she even OWN a computer at home?!

The girl keeps us going for months, and now she's missing it!

let us all remember the changing baby bump and the beachball after she really gave birth. She looks EXACTLY like him, and if I were him I would be shouting PATERNITY TEST!!!!!(I'm sure that hack Maury Povich could set it up)

Ok my biggest beefis that the cover line "Yes Suri, she's our baby" a play on Yessirriee........WAS MY LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I posted that somewhere on this thread.......I can't find the post now, if anyone sees it let me know where it is............................I said something like "Yes-suri-bob" I put it in big blue letters. .....Now I just am too tired to wade through the pages...but I said it first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Proof that Tommy Boy is readng this thread...or at least one of his Kool-aid drinking buddies.........

Have to say...my cousin who is an adopted native American had hair *exactly* like that when he was a baby. Really. People used to touch it b/c they thought it was a wig.

I also think the pictures are strange. The cover photo particularly, it's as though they don't want you seeing Tom and Kate's eyes for some reason...maybe deception, maybe too much 'hmmmmm' involved. I dunno. And the hidden in the jacket thing...when I had my babies, I wanted people to see their toes and fingers and cute dipey bums and adorable outfits, not just a head poking out of a jacket. weird. And...one more thing, why is TOM the one holding her on the cover and not Kate? Isn't it more idyllic/typical for the mother/child image? Seems subliminal to me that Tom is in control of the situation and Kate can only look on...

Those watching Katie Couric's debut on the CBS Evening News tonight also got to see another debut - the Vanity Fair cover featuring Suri Cruise, 4 1/2 months! The magazine will be available for purchase Wednesday in New York and Los Angeles, and nationally on September 12th. The issue includes a 22 page family portfolio, with the tagline a play on the term "Yessiree," reading, "Yes Suri, She's Our Baby!" (my line first!) Larry King Live will be showing all 22 pages on his show tomorrow evening, for those interested.

The photos were shot in Telluride, CO, on July 27th, when Suri was almost 3 1/2 months old,[/B](give or take 3 months or so) and printed in Kentucky last week, as we exclusively reported. Excerpts from the article include:

- Suri's name was chosen from a baby-naming book - not made-up, as many believed[/B].(Still a stupid name)
-Katie thought she was expecting a girl, but apparently did not find out the sex ahead of time. She says, "I was craving pink the whole nine months." She loved being pregnant, saying, "I was overjoyed in being pregnant...and then had to withstand ridicule about my pregnancy when it was the most normal, non-controversial thing imaginable." Yeah it's real normal to get pregnat that quick after being a virgin for so long, when you are a practicing Catholic- most normal...uh-huh)
-The rumors about her family and the existence of the baby really bothered Katie: “It’s really frustrating the amount of **** that’s out there. And the stuff they say about Suri?! You shouldn't say that about us, and you can't say that about my child." (My favorite quote thus far....so Kate is a potty mouth like Tom...."like yeah man, you can't say that! You're glib!!!!"-The couple was just waiting for the right time to introduce the public to their daughter. In fact, Tom says, “We were always going to release a photo." “We weren’t trying to hide anything,” Katie adds. No, ofcourse you weren't, not even the fact that the baby looks Asian!-On the sonogram purchase controversy - it was really for their OB/GYN. Katie says, "[We were followed by the paparazzi, so the doctor made house calls]...The sonogram was for his use!" totally contrary to what Tom said when he bought it!
-They chose Annie Leibovitz to take the photographs because, "Annie is the only professional photographer who ever shot Bella and Connor as children." Someone please pass the Kool-aid

-Katie on being a first time mother: "The moment the doctor handed me Suri...I was just ready. The feeling is indescribable. All I can say is the moment I looked in her eyes I felt like ... Mom. She's a glorious girl. She's the miracle of our life." Not to mention amazing and normal and the most beautiful thing Jada Pinkett has ever seen!
-The parents can't decide who the baby looks like. Hmmm? Chris Klien, or L. Ron? "She has Kate's lips and eyes," Tom says of the baby. "I think she looks like Kate There he goes again with that Kate crap." Katie counters, "I think she has Tom's eyes. I think she looks like Tom." Because Tom told me to think that during my last audit.

I think he is trying to mimic Brad Pitt's pic with Shiloh. It was the most open, vulnerable & loving pic I had ever seen of Brad. Other than a few wackos saying the baby wasn't his because Angelina slept with someone else, it was CLEAR that Brad Pitt was the father of Shiloh, biologically or not.

Plus, Tom is the bigger boxoffice moneymaker over Katie. People would rather see pics of him with the baby. I wouldn't be surprised if almost all the pics of Katie are the side of her head.

Leibovitz would be smart enough to hide Katie's sad eyes.

The editor form VF was on CBS this morning (Anna Sarkin I think) she said the whole experience was AMAZING and incredible.

I can't believe how many people use the word AMAZING in connection with this baby and Tommy boy. And if he thinks for one instant that the majority of the fans don't see past the whole release of the pictures as a huge publicity stunt then he really is living in La la land. Backpeddling, spin, damage control.....baby pictures aren't going to do it Tommyboy!

First, I have to say Suri looks asian to me too, but about the hair, my girls both had heads of hair like that when they were born, and Dh and I are whiter than white bread... and photos of DD at about 2-1/2 months make her look a bit asian around the eyes.
People would alwaya want to touch my girls hair too!

On the "other" Suri thread they said Katie dated Josh Hartnett before taking up with Tommy, so I went and googled his pictures and he looks a lot like Tommy. So now we can add a new link to the conspiricy, maybe Josh is the father?

All I know is I don't think Tommyboy is.
