so i got the email today saying the discount came out..included our travel dates (6/5-6/12) and i immediately jumped online to get a quote to see how much we would be saving. we are staying at art of anim....well i got a quote and it was almost a $400 savings. but i had to go thru our disney vacation travel lady..and now she tells me that the standard room is not included on that discount. and i get online and sure enough tonight its not..but it was this morning??

Maybe it was a problem with the system? I am also a TA and was having trouble earlier today trying to book some trips...the system was off and on for a good part of the morning.

Was it a Little Mermaid room? Those were excluded from the discount.

If it let you put it through it was just a glitch. The standard rooms haven't been included in any discounts thus far, and aren't on this one either.

Art of Animation standard rooms have so far always been excluded from deals. Would you consider switching to another resort to save the money? Last summer my DD and I stayed at Pop but often visited the food court and shop at AoA as it was just a short walk across the bridge. The pools were off limits as we were not staying at AoA but we still enjoyed some of the extras that are available to everyone. $400 is a lot of money to be saved.
