Oh God There's The Yeti! - Siblings do Disney 2014 *update 9/16*

Fun stuff!! I LOVE the Philharmagic; always a must for me. There is a bird show at Animal Kingdom (can't recall the name right now) we saw it in 2012 for the first time and it was so good. Since we haven't been in years we haven't done ANY of the Fantasyland expansion, so that's our top priority next trip!

Flights of Wonder I think and it's so fun! I saw it for the first time last year, hope you do get to enjoy it again!

Part of my plans for my first solo trip next month is to do just that, try to catch some of the things I've never done or have never paid enough attention to.

As another poster said, this will be my first time seeing ANY of the New Fantasyland expansion, so that's going to be a top priority for me.

It will also be my first MNSSHP, so going to do my best to make sure I get as much out of that as I can by way of unique character greetings.

Also my first Food & Wine, so I've alloted a full day and another half day at Epcot, mainly just for strolling and gnoshing.

Also specifically at Epcot, which has long been my favorite park, I want to spend more time in the galleries and performances and such. Examples: The Terracotta Army exhibition in China, the Hedge Maze in the UK, catch a performance from Off Kilter and Mo'Rockin (especially since this will be my final chance to ever do so!), etc. These are the kind of things I've always breezed past because my traveling companions never want to spend much time at them.

Also, as somebody else mentioned, Flights of Wonder at AK I've never stopped to catch, and am hoping to do so on this trip!

Out of your list I've never done Astro Orbitor, Rafiki's Planet Watch or Captain EO.

I love almost anything Disney, but I almost hope my next trip is solo so that I can do anything I want and check a bunch of things off my list. I really, really, really, really wanted to see Off Kilter, and it was on my list for this trip, but I didn't get to it. And now, they are going away!

Alright guys it's official. I can't pack any more until Saturday! (Except I can't find my shower cap ahhh!) I'm trying to get Aaryn to pack as much as he can as soon as he can so he isn't scrambling to do it later in the week!

I usually don't pack until a few days before but I knew I wanted to take some things that I hadn't seen in a while and I didn't want to be scrambling last minute!

Just reading this makes ME want to start packing! I will start in about two weeks I think - I always start so far ahead of time and then I end up OVERpacking and having to UNpack some right before the trip. This trip I need to get it together ahead of time and just pack once - shouldn't be too hard, but I am staying for 11 days so a lot of clothes are going.

Tomorrow we leave! Yesterday's work day was SO LONG, I have a feeling today's will be as well. Unfortunately my husband and I did not have the same days off this week. The day I had off we ended up napping for most of it (very bad choice) and the day he had off I had a big pressure headache behind my eyes and was a bit miserable.

Tonight I need to:
-pack up my travel/park bag and gather up/wash anything that still needs to be packed.
-make sure Aaryn has everything. I think all of it is stuff I'll use Sunday Morning so as long as it's in one place I can pack it quickly.
-I also need to put some music on my phone (I can't find my ipod anywhere!)
-call and add our departure flight to our reservation.
-watch monsters inc
-relax!

Hi everyone! We're back. I've got a bit of post vacation blues so it may be a little while before I get to my trip report, that and I need to sort through and edit some photos. We had a good time though, unfortunately when we left it was like 97* F and when we got home it was about 60* F and it keeps getting colder! Brrrrr! I think I mentioned a while back that I wasn't sure when we'd be back. I'm still not (Kinda maybe shooting for 2016?) but we're trying to go to California next year (Yosemite mostly) and I think I may try and get Mark to go to Disneyland for a day. I've never had a strong urge to go but if we're going to be in the same state I may as well try. It's about a 5.5 hour drive to/from Yosemite; but the closest airport we can fly out of or in to is fresno and it's over an hour away! May as well drive a few extra hours eh? that makes sense right? The trip is still way in the pre-planning state but who knows!

Disneyland is so fun! It's a lot like WDW in some ways, but really different in other ways! Carsland is such a well themed area too!
