Has everyone see the latest projected path for Jeanne? According to some forecasts, Jeanne's bullseye is Vero Beach.
Enough is enough!

Only yesterday I cancelled my plan B at the YC, and today, I reactivated it. :(

Yep, I just noticed that this morning and we're arriving at SSR Sunday morning. It's not going to change our trip we'll just pack ponchos and forge ahead!

..... everybody complains about the weather but no one does anything about it !!!

I hope it stays away.

They are just starting to get Vero Beach up and running again.

When are you scheduled to be there?

Good luck.

I'm also concerned, as we are supposed to be at HHI for this weekend. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

::yes::

I just went and took a look at www.accuweather.com

It certainly does look like it could hit in the Vero area.:(

I guess I wouldn't want to be at the resort if it was going to make landfall in the area.

I guess we'll take off for Orlando if it looks like it is going to get bad here.:(

just got an e-mail from my MIL, she is packing up and heading over to the gulf coast to visit her Mom, she has had enough of Vero and the storms!!! From the tone of her letter, if she could afford it, they would move back to the North east and deal with the snow!!!   Let's all pray for no more storms!!!

Well i'm going out right now and doing the stop the hurricane dance:jumping1: :umbrella: :jumping1: Ok wait 12 hours and do it again. I arrive in 20 days and I only want to see:sunny: . Susan

Your dance looks more like people saying "ouch ouch ouch....the sand is hot, very hot, ouch ouch ouch ".

The latest I heard was that Cape Canveral and the Space Coast area were in the bullseye. This could be good for Vero, but maybe not so good for Orlando.

In any event, this storm has tracked so crazily that they are still saying it could not make landfall until it reaches the Carolinas. Not good news for HHI.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. At least this looks like the last storm for a while.

Most likely the resort will close.

The local authorities just gave the latest update.

Voluntary evacuations will most likely begin tomorrow with mandatory evacuations of the barrier islands and anything East of US1 on Sat. (if it maintains the current track)

These were there exact words.

The resort will have no choice but to close again if there is a mandatory evacuation.:(

Stay safe everyone. We are off to stand in line at Publix for water and batteries. I think we should just get out of here and go to WDW.

This must be why they give Florida residents those breaks on park admission:umbrella:

Yeah - I used some of my cancelled points from my Labor Day trip at Vero to book VWL for this weekend.

Figures.
