I've seen a lot of people share their wedding pictures through Ofoto,,I was just wondering if anyone had ever ordered one of the bound books they offer?? Im thinking of doing this for my husband's and my parents for Christmas,,how well do they turn out??

Any info would be appreciated,,*smiles*.
:bounce:

I was thinking of doing the same thing for my parents. I have ordered a lot of pictures from them and they turned out very nice.

I think Im going to order a couple,,how bad could they be,,*smiles*. I think the parents will LOVE them and they have a 25% off sale going on until Nov. 17th to boot! :teeth:

Just to let you know Shutterfly also do these and from what I understand give you a little bit more flexibility so if it's not too late I'd look at that too and compare.

Thank you so much Merandab4,,*smiles*.

I like yours too,,I would have loved to do the Castle Photo shoot,,but we were trying to keep the wedding small as we are having another recepetion in Feb. We did get to do the Honeymoon photo shoot though so we still have a castle pic,,:)

As for the books,,I think I will try the Ofoto book,,because I like the paper backgrounds better and because they have a sale on right now. I'll make another post when I get them to say how they turned out,,:)

You say you are going with Ofoto because you like the "paper" backgrounds better? I am not really familiar with shutterfly, but what backgrounds does Shutterfly offer that you do not like? I'm just curious as I too would like to make a book but am trying to decide between Shutterfly and Ofoto. They are both so similar that I guess I just assumed they offer the same exact stuff. Thanks for any reply.

It's not that I don't like the background designs that Shutterfly has to offer,,I just kinda like the crinkled paper look with the dark photo tab edges that Ofoto offers. Id love it if I could use the Ofoto background with the Shutterfly layouts,,*smiles*.

If you log into both and upload a few photos you can play with the books set up and see which you like better.

I just received my first order of regular prints from Ofoto and I must say Im impressed. I normally print out all of my photo's from my digital camera but I took so many picture in Disney that I was looking for a more affordable way to print them out (I took like 80 pics a day!) I ordered them on Friday and received them on my door step on Monday! I will definately order pictures this way again.

I will let everyone know how the photo book turns out as well,,I think Iam going to order it tonight,,:)

I did i family reuion photo book from shutterfly and loved them. I looked for doing one for my parents and the aniversary one was nice. The only bad part is if you like captions they come out very small. If you want to write captions by your hand for a personal touch sutterfly is a great option.princess:

Sorry it's taken so long to follow up on the Ofoto book,,:( Things have just been really busy here,,we're planning our wedding reception and then there was Thanksgiving and all...

Anyway,,Im very happy with the Ofoto memory book. I can't believe how quickly they go it out to me. I had the finished book in about 6 days,,I ordered it on Nov. 15th and they shipped it out on Nov. 18th!

I definately like the colored backgrounds rather than the plain white,,I just think it adds to the overall look. I also went with the white linen cover,,rather than the leather look and it looks great and saved me about $10. I know the parents will love them! It's nice to know I have some of my Christmas shopping started,,:)

Thats great! I had wanted to do one of these boks but kept putting it off because I could not make up my mind about color, page backgrounds, layout..etc. Do you think you could post some pics of your book? I would love to see an actual book!

Here are a few pages from the book I ordered.

The book is about 9" by 10.25" in size,,:) If you have any other questions please feel free to ask,,*Smiles*.

I think I might order some invitation cards through Ofoto as well,,we are having our at home reception in Feb. and I wanted to send a wedding picture in each card so instead of a traditional invite I might order wedding photo cards through Ofoto,,it's a lot cheaper,,and that way everyone get a picture,,:)
