Offsite Hotels LBV Area

We always stay onsite and recently returned from our first family holiday with our 15 month old son from a 16 night stay at SSR with DDP.

He loved it so much we want to go again next year but more of a budget trip. The prices for Disney hotels are massive and I can't justify the value prices. We plan on taking my Mom so would need either 2 rooms or a 2 bed suite. I don't want a villa because cleaning up and cooking for myself is not my idea of a good holiday!

We'd ideally like to stay in the LBV area but as it's been so long since I've been offsite I'm looking for recommendations - any help would be appreciated

The perfect place to stay in LBV is Hawthorn Suites located on Palm Blvd. It is a very nice place with a full breakfast included. Rooms are very clean and a wonderful staff. The rooms are either suites which can hold up to 6 people or single rooms. Prices are very good with a few discount options build into the website. It is the ONLY place we stay when doing Disney, which will be Dec. and Feb. Have a blast.

Personally I don't plan to stay at any offsite hotel, offers come and go. First I book flights and know my dates then keep watching until I see a deal I want. Last twice I have stayed at http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...Orlando_Lake_Buena_Vista-Orlando_Florida.html
We prefer staying at one of the Fairfield Inns at LBV but they have been expensive this year. We paid about £30/nt at the ESA, Fairfields over £50/nt.

Hawthorne Suites from me, we stayed there for 17 nights in August and we had no complaints at all. staff were great, breakfast included and suite was nice and roomy.
a shuttle runs three times a day going to Epcot and does return trips at 6.00pm, 8.00pm and around 10.30pm if i remember correctly. The LBV area was lovely (a big thank you to Wayne and others who recommended LBV, the location really made our holiday).

We are big fans of Fairfield at Marriott Village LBV. Great location, reasonable price and breakfast thrown in too

Us too but unfortunately haven't been able to get reasonable prices this year, its been around £60/nt compared to past years never paid more than around £30-35/nt.

Have you checked out Hilton Bonnet Creek?? I know some people will have seen previous posts from me about how great a hotel we found it. It's actually within the gates of Disney (slap bang next door to Disney's CBR!) and is about half the price of a Disney hotel (when comparing on Complete Orlando). The hotel itself is a 5* hotel and I believe truly does offer World Class Service. Their pre-arrivals team (esp Alyssa Stephan) did SO much to help us and even emailed the night before to check if there was anything we had forgotten as they knew we were staying in an airport hotel and wouldn't be able to nip home for anything we'd left. They also sent a complimentary in-room movie pack (a voucher for one free movie, pretzels, popcorn and two boxes of chocs) to our room with an apology note that the manager had been unable to greet us personally when we arrived!

I was very nervous when you booked what was Country Inns and Suites, LBV, (part of Fairfield now) after helping me book there one year. I sweated buckets until you posted that all was well

We liked LBV area.
