Are the offiaciants really expensive? I heard
they are.

Ok thank God. That's nothing. I was on another boards and they saud that they chrage a lot but thats seriously nothing. My Uncle is a pastor and I might have him perform the ceremony if he goes.

Now I want to have a christian ceremony. Is that possible? You know like the traditional vowels and the unity candle and all that.

Yep you can do that. Rev Tim gave me a whole list of vow choices. I am actually using the vows he used for the Lifetime Wedding special. And we are doing the rose ceremony. You basically can do what is important to you.

I inquired to three officiants last month. Rev. Jack Day and Rev. Tim Herring are $150. Rev. Kevin Knox is $200. Add an extra $100 if you have a custom wedding and want a rehearsal.

Contact these individuals (and others) and they'll send you packages of what they can do for you before, during and after your ceremony. I was able to get a good sense of their style by visiting their web sites and then watching DFTW wedding videos at STVS Weddings.

Reverend Miller is $250. I don't know why they all charge different amounts and I don't know why we ended up picking Reverend Miller. I researched a lot here on the boards, read a lot of good (and some not so good), looked at their pictures and thought that Rev. Miller had a very friendly face :goodvibes Then when we started emailing realized that he was soooo nice!!!! I'm ok spending the extra money

I totally agree Hulagirl. we have went with Rev Miller, and I too don't mind the extra cost, he is sooooo friendly. I know other people that have used him think he's great!

We just booked Rev. Jack Day and his fee is $250 including the rehersal for a custom wedding. Price was about average with the officiants in our home city.

I am not at this stage yet, but I had budgeted $250 for the officiant and was thinking about using Rev. Jack Day. I am glad to see that my budget isn't too far off...at least in this one category :)

I am booked with rev jack day for my wedding and I was charged 150.00! He also informed me that the officiants agreed togeather that they would not charge anymore than 250.00 ! Some of the ones listed on the disney suggested officiants tried to charge me over $350.00!

Rev Jack day is wonderful! He has a sweet southern drawl, and he is very personable!
