I've said it many times on this board - we loved Rev. Jack Day! He was a highlight of our wedding day! He was sweet as could be to me and my MOH and my daddy and I found out later he got DH to relax up there (can't imagine why he would be nervous

). After only dealing with Rev. Jack by e-mail and one phone call, when we met him, it was like he'd known us for years! He gave our toast, had some cake and cider, stayed for extra pictures, and gave us some marriage advice - he was terrific!
I have read recently a couple of brides thought he "directed" the ceremony too much, changed his prices, and they had problems getting him to give them the license - but we had none of those issues. He did the ceremony the way we wanted, the remembrance prayer he chose for my mom was lovely, then he kept the ceremony light and up-beat just as we wanted. When we got the license the county clerk said to let our officiant handle it, I knew Rev. Jack had done hundreds (if not thousands) of weddings and it would be fine. Our marriage certificate was waiting in the mail when we got home from our honeymoon, no problems at all. As for the fee, when we got married the officiant fee was included in the Intimate cost, and I know that has changed so just get it in writing. I don't remember him directing us, but we didn't do video and honestly the whole time I was just in another world, it was so completely magical, marrying my wonderful husband
