Official Wine & Dine 2014

More info on driving here (last year's program): http://as1.wdpromedia.com/media/rundisney/pdf/wine-dine/Wine&Dine13_Program.pdf

See page 19. :)

Thanks for that!

My brain keeps on losing the info on the whole driving thing, so seeing it in writing was good.

For guests driving toEpcot® on race evening, the race shuttle from Epcot® to the Sports Complex will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The parking fee at Epcot® will be waived for participants and spectators arriving after 6:00 p.m. on race evening.

All participants must board shuttles from Epcot® to the Sports Complex no later than 8:00 p.m. in order to make it to their corrals on time.

Let's hope nothing changes!

Noticed there is a spectator area at the WWOS. Is transportation provided for spectators after the start back to epcot? Thanks
I'm sure there is...I have no idea where the spectator area is, though. I don't remember seeing them at all.

Hello everyone! If there is a better place to post this question, please let me know. I have family who would like to stay with me at the resort for a couple of nights during my stay. As it stands the room is paid for, but I am the only one listed as a guest. Would it be too late to add them, and does anyone know if there is a cost associated with doing so? Thanks a bunch!!

I'm sure you can. $25 per guest per night I think?

Anyone else see the new 'photo verification' thing they are going to be using for Coast to Coasters. Anyone else think this is something that sounds better in thought than in action?

All I am seeing is a huge backup or problems if for some reason they can't find someone's photo. It can happen.

Awesome, thanks!

I have another question for the experienced runDisney folks. Can you tell me how big the gear check bag is? Will I be able to fit some jeans and a sweatshirt in it or should I plan on lighter clothes? I get chilled really quickly after a run and I'd like to take warmer clothes with me and not have to return to my car. Thanks so much in advance :)

Okay so for reference here is one of the bags from one of the previous races I've done (yeah I save mine, great for carrying things):

As you can see they are rather large. I can fit my entire Tinker Bell costume in there easily and that's including the wings. Parking a pair of clothes for afterwards in the bag shouldn't be hard.

Thanks for all the replies about the bag! I'll be able to fit my stuff in, no problem.

Yeah, bumbershoot, I hate that I chill down so fast. Last night, I ran 8 miles in about 55 degree weather and I cooled down for about 1/2 mile and was freezing when I got home. I was worried that I would end up leaving the party early because I was too cold but looks like I'll be able to pack everything I need!

Good luck, everyone, with the last few weeks of training! The race will be here before we know it :)

Okay, I don't want to get flamed for asking this but I'm going to risk it... do people wear their finisher medal the next day in the parks? I'm asking because I don't want to be "that guy" wearing the thing on Sunday ... but if everyone has got them on then I will wish I did too (provided I finish - don't want to jinx myself here!). So ... to wear or not to wear... that is the question. Thoughts?

Day after is perfectly fine esp with it being a night race.. day 2 is fine, day 3-4 gets a tad much and day 5 becomes 'seriously?' To me if you want to 'advertise' after day 4-5 wear the shirts..
