Staying at the Contemporary for both the 10k and half. Will the monorail be working that early? If so what time is everyone getting on it?

Monorail cannot take you to the start for the half (WWoS) and I don't think it's available for the 10K at all. I think coming back from the half only.

Any chance there's been an announcement of 2017 weekend? Figure for weekend of November 3-5, but looking for something official.

10k in the books.

Easily my slowest 10k but faster than I anticipated (17:something avg) but hey being 28 weeks preg I won't complain...

Lot more on course photogs than I remember but everything else was typical..

If it was a gray top & light pink sparkly skirt that was me- which ironically will be the same color pattern tomorrow as I only found nice running tanks in gray lately & with only 3 (now 2) races left didn't need multiple larger/longer than usual running skirts

Are there any resorts besides Yacht/Beach/Swan/Dolphin/Boardwalk where the bus has to go to such a large number of resorts on one route? I'm at boardwalk and we are last on the route. All the busses this morning were full and never made it to us. The lady coordinating transport had to ask for them to send us our own special busses (she needed five empty to clear the backlog). Our first bus (that I saw, and I was in line at 3:30) was at 3:50 and it was one of the special ones requested. At the 5K we were getting maybe 4-5 people on each of the first few busses.

Anyway, just thinking forward to my next race weekend and where I should stay, because I don't think I'll come back here for another race weekend with five resorts on the runDisney bus route.

I was even thinking today they should maybe get people to nominate a property maybe when doing PoT so that they can get a good idea of what volume of runners they have at resorts to balance out the transport requirements.

And a Big Thanks to whoever it was on the thread that recommended carrying a plastic bag with you for the post race food and beverages. Got the medal and then got that puppy out... easy carrying of that stuff.
