OK I know i have read that the skins that go over the remote and nunchuck dont work if you have the nyko charger, but i was looking at the charger lsat night at bestbuy and can you just cut a little whole in the skin so that the chrger thing makes contact with the base, or does it just not fit period? i bought 2 sets of the skins from circuit city on black friday, granetd i dotn know for what..lol, but wondering if i should keep or not cuz i was thinking of getting hte charger eventually.

I just got one on Toys R Us about 2 minutes ago. They didn't have just the console, but I got the one with 8 games for $619.xx. It was almost $700 with shipping and tax, but atleast I got it!!!

Congrats! The Toysrus bundle at $499 is how I got mine. It hurts to layout that much but I knew DD would play all the games.

Yeah, it was a battle with myself--should I, shouldn't I-- but then I did it because I knew I could get rid of the games he doesn't want. He'll be going to college soon so that will give him something to do in all that spare time! Besides, it's just money!

For my honey, I took the Nintendo DS plunge. I looked at it vs the PSP and it just seemed like there was a lot more in the way of games and possibility with the DS. Of course, she told me last night that she had changed her mind and now wants a PSP at some point, but she didn't even ask for the DS really, just sort of mentioned that one day she would like one. But, being that I had already bought the DS and a bunch of stuff for it, I am not making the change at this point.

Basically, I am looking to see if I missed anything.

PS. I really don't want to have to buy more games at this point. I am just trying to cover my bases.

You've got way more than anyone would every need. Every base is definitely covered.

In the future be sure to buy games and no more accessories. You don't NEED accessories, but you NEED games.

All of the Wii games will use the Wii-mote. It's only when you download or use Gamecube games that you would want to consider something like that.

No, cutting a hole will not work. The wiimote has to sit on the base in such a way that it won't work. You can take the skins off to charge if you want to, but that'll be a pain.

Has anyone played this for the Wii? I can't seem to find a rating for it on IGN. Maybe no one one there has reviewed it (probably because it is a princess game)! My daughter wants this or Boogie and Boogie has a poor rating, so I thought I would try this.

I wouldn't buy the princess game for anyone over 8. Your DD is 8 right?

Neither one seems like a good game, but Princesses is $20 cheaper, so that's good enough for me!

Ahh this is tough! I think she's too old for the Disney game and will get bored quickly, but it't the same with Boogie. Can you talk her into MySims or something else? I can't remember what else you have...

I think Rayman is a good choice for her and if she doesn't like it, I bet you and your son will. There are stages in Rayman that are a rthym game that I love and I bet she'll be really into those. You have a good list going there. I would stick with Rayman over Boogie or Disney Princesses. There will continue to be a bunch of karaoke games, someday one good enough to drop the $$$ on.

Neither of the bowling games are worth the money. Wii Sports bowling is just as good and you got it free.

Excite Truck is better than Monster Madness...a lot better.

Nope, same thing. The nunchuck attaches to the controller, so those terms are interchangeable.

darn, i got the brunswick bowling on black friday cuz i thought itd be a little better and funner than the wii sports one, have you actually played it or just going by reviews,?? wonder if its worth keeping or if i should return.

I've played it. How much did you pay for it? It still might be worth keeping. I just wouldn't pay full price for it. It's honestly not as responsive as Wii Sports.

Has your family actually played the Wii yet or are you saving it for Christmas? If they have played and REALLY enjoyed the bowling part of Wii Sports, I would consider it. If they haven't even played Wii Sports, then they don't NEED another bowling game.

Or wait, is this for you? Duh! Sorry I'm so used to it being big families! If you really like Wii Bowling and played it a lot and didn't pay very much for Brunswick, then you should keep it.

Well its for me mainly and dbf, my two friends with kids are getting it for their big xmas present too so we'lla ll have one, but urs is for 2 adutls..lol.

I have only played it at best buy and played the bowling on wii sports and loved it and it was one of the main reason i wanted it cuz i thought it was kewl and fun. As far as the games, for sonic and bowling i payed $20 and for chicken shoot i paid $15, the mario i got when tru was having the $25 deal so i consider it $25..lol.

What do you mean by its not as responsive, i was hoping it would be a realistic, but maybe its not. oh gosh m now you got me thinking...lol

$20 is a very good price.

Here's how I feel about it. Wii bowling is very intuitive, it really feels like you are playing, but it's cartoony and doesn't have a ton of ways to make it REALLY real.

Brunswick has more options, but at times I feel like its not as realistic. Like if I try to spin my ball it doesn't work as well as I think it should.

But this is something you can get used to for $20 if bowling is that important for you.

Just keep it!

maybe what ill do is play the wii version a bit since i have till januray 24th i think best buy says..lol and see what i think. since you are right echnically i have touched a wii remote for all of two bowling games on the best buy display...hhahah,

thanks for the review tho, i was gettign worried it was a crappy game but like you said i figured for $20 ill try it out if not trade it in to gamestop.

What i am really hoping shows up under my tree is GH3...LOL lets see is dbf can manage that...lol
