What's funny is that everyone remembers Fabio from last season and Carla...but I actually had to *think* about who the winner was. Kevin will be more famous for *not* having won, he'll be thie season's Fabio.
I Heart Kevin, he was so decent, I think his brand of cooking just wasn't fancy enough for the judges. Ah, but that's ok. Kevin will represent the United States at the Bocuse D'Or. I also Heart the Nice Voltaggio brother, the one with the restaurant in Frederick Maryland, with the wife and kid, the one who was generous with his time, the one who actually seemed to care about food and the people eating his food.

I think the judges like's Kevin's dishes just fine. They did not penalize him last night for "simple". They penalized him for a having a bad day. He had one good dish, one OK dish with a problem (the hard mushroom) and two marginal dishes (the under-cooked pork and the BACONI Heart Kevin, he was so decent, I think his brand of cooking just wasn't fancy enough for the judges. Ah, but that's ok. Kevin will represent the United States at the Bocuse D'Or.
I am thrilled at the winner. I thought he was the best all season. Kevin will be fine. He's on TV everyday in Atlanta!
