** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

I cant wait to see when they are down to 5 and see how Yul is going to keep Jonathan in the game. He is the one to take to the final 2. I do like Jonathan more than Adam. Jonthan's motives are clear--he is trying to get as far as he can. Adam is just kind of slimy.
I do feel Parvarti isnt going to far, I didnt care for her in the beginning but I do like her now.

Ozzy sure wasn't shown very much last night. He was almost never shown in the scenes around camp. There were an awful lot of scenes with Yul, Sundra and Becky talking and I kept thinking where's Ozzy?!

So glad to see Candice gone, can't wait to see Adam and his super white teeth and Parvati and her annoying self gone too! I thought it was hysterical when they missed the fish cause they were so busy loving on each other. Of course, I don't know if they jury picked all that up, or just that Aitu was being mean to the three of them.

I think the folks on the jury know they don't work for anything. The problem is I don't know if they care. A few of them were pretty useless as well.

I love Yul! I think he is hysterical when he rambles on. It is amazing how intelligent he is.

I loved last week, when he was in the endurance challenge, and was going on and on about the feet being too big on the rope, kind of why elephants can't climb trees.... :lmao: Jeff says "that is exactly was I was thinking right now." :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I also loved this quote and laughed harder when Yul said, "I'm never going to get another date." (shaking his head at himself) :rotfl2:

Fantastic episode last night! We were all yelling at the tv for Yul to stick with Jonathan and vote out Candace or Pavarti. We couldn't believe how stuck-up and snotty those 3 were: "why didn't you share the fish?" DUH! You sit around on your butts all day, can't even get firewood, and expect them to feed you??? It wasn't Jonathan showing his true colors last night, it was Candace, Adam and Parvati showing how lazy and mean THEY are!

You know, in the past the jury has pretty much used their brains to vote for the winner. In Season 1, everybody hated Richard Hatch, but they all agreed that he outplayed them all. This year, I'm not so sure. The jury is all young, from the Raro tribe (so far) and they all feel "entitled" and don't see anything wrong with being lazy. Remember when Jonathan and Candace first jumped ship - the Raro's were all sitting around letting Jonathan do all the work (Candace was on Exile Island) because they had the numbers. Now that they don't have the numbers, they STILL expected Jonathan and the others to wait on them???? GET REAL PEOPLE!

I really don't like Parvati and was hoping she'd be going home last night, but I can understand them wanting to break up the Candace/Adam thing. I've always thought of Adam as a big dumb lug, so I was quite surprised he won an immunity challenge. Maybe he does has a brain in there somehwere? :confused3

Next week: either Parvati or Adam go home. Or maybe we'll be lucky and have another week where they can vote off TWO and they can get rid of both of them at once!

I just rewatched the whole episode online, Adum gives me the creeps! The way he sits there with that stupid grin on his face, he is such a dope! I am glad Candunce is gone, the 2 of them creep me out! The way the three of htem were laying there Parvati laying next to him while he is kissing Candunce I really like Yul but he is getting really cocky about being in the final two. At tribal council I think Nate made a big fool of himself the way he was acting as they were talking. I am liking Ozzy better now than I did 4 episodes ago.

If the Survivor series has taught us anything, it is that 20-somethings are lazy and full of themselves!!!!! :lmao: :lmao:

It is the same every season. The older people work their arses off while the young "kids" lay around and whine about having no food to eat.

Sounds like my JOB!! :rotfl2:

Man, I was THRILLED to see Candice gone

but had to change the channel during the slop swap...

Good Riddance!!

OK just watched online. I can't believe I forgot to Ti-vo last night.

I'm glad the Adam/Candice thing got broken up too. Yuk!

I didn't care for Jonathan in the begining, but I kind of like him now. Yul is right, at least Jonathan is thinking and playing the game.

I really wonder about some of the others. Are they strategizing at all, or just trying to ride coat-tails as long as possible?
I know Ozzie was plotting before Nate was voted off, but they didn't show much of him this time. I guess since we only get to see what they want us to see - who knows for sure. :confused3

I thought it was pretty funny how Ozzie was the one who jumped right in and said no need to share the fish, but he didn't take any heat for that at all. :rotfl:

I've always liked Yul, but I couldn't believe that little exchange with Becky. If that didn't open her eyes a bit I don't know what will.

DH and I couldn't understand why everyone was whining about Jonathan's behavior. This is a game...you are trying to win a million dollars, why are you so shocked when someone is outwardly playing the game. I agreed with Jonathan that he hasn't acted any differently last night than he did on day one. If he is so selfish then why is he bringing you fish everyday??? Like last episode when he caught a bunch of fish and he came back and there was no fire, no water, they all looked at him like "Why is he so mean?" I hope Adam is next, b/c he irks my everlovin nerves.

What happened between Yul and Becky? I must have missed that. Thanks! :sunny:

And I agree with everyone else that Adam and Pavarti have to go next. They have not "played the game" very well. Yes, they are young and "smart", but lazy.

He and Becky were talking and he was talking about who HE wanted to go to the final two with, her eyes opened a little wider when she heard him say that.

Methink Yul will have some 'splainin' to do soon...

After Candace's little tirade about the fish, how could she be surprised that she is gone? She tried to trap Yul by calling him out in front of everybody!! Real Subtle!! She might as well have hung a target around her neck!! Geeesh!! Good riddance!

I hope Adum and Pavarti start playing the game now, that would really make it interesting, instead of sitting around snuggling waiting to be waited on. If they tried to stay in the game, they might be able to turn things against Yul, who I like, but is rather cocky and needs to be brought down a notch.

Go Ozzie!!!! He's my vote!

haha, same here. I really can't stand Candice and Adam, and now Parvati is started to bug me even more. How dumb can she be in just saying Yul doesn't have the immunity idol?!?!?!

I was also really annoyed at the people on the jury, especially Nate. He was obnoxious.

Well, they only have themselves to blame for the mess they are in. They had their chance to get rid of Jonathon, but they didn't. If they had voted Jonathon out right after he mutinied, instead of Brad, they would never be in the predicament they are in now.

Does everybody think it is a foregone conclusion that Yul will be in the final two? That immunity idol is his ace in the hole right now. I have been wracking my brains trying to imagine any scenario that would leave Yul vulnerable and I can't think of any. Unless one of his allies really double crosses him. At this point I can't imagine that happening though.

The only way Yul will be vulnerable is if they all vote for him to make him use the idol; someone else will go home, but Yul won't have the safety net of the idol any longer. They'd better do it soon, because he can only use it up to the final 4, right?

The immunity idol is only good through the final 4, so after that, he could be voted out by Sundra, Becky, and Ozzie. Remember, last season, it only got Terry in the final three. Then he lost the immunity challenge and was out.

Actually I think Candice was already pretty sure that if they couldn't get Yul & Co. to flip that she would be the one to go, so really not much lost for her.

The Adam and Candace thing was YUCK!!! What was that supposed to show? That you can get rid of her but she will still have power with Adam there?

And then Parvati is all over him too? Although last night she kept telling everybody how everything made her want to puke.

And the anger over the fish after the scolded Jonathan for taking some of "their" coconut? Maybe if they got off their behinds and helped cook it a little bit they would have known it was ready.

And yes, what was with the jury making all those faces and reactions back and forth to the players? I thought that was a big NO NO!

Very curious to see the fallout from all this next week!!

I like Yul, but I really hope they force him to play the idol. That would really shake the game up.
