Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

These are obviosly 2013 times so they may change...also Disney auditioned guys for Han Solo so he's sure to be another popular one. We still don't know where he will meet and probably won;t know until the first day.
Kenny did go to SWW the first Friday last year and got almost all the times so by the end of the first weekend we will have a more precise times guide for characters

Those timings of the characters are great from previous years! Do those times feature somewhere on the park map for this year or do they usually have them on a display board inside HS does anyone know? Tia

The times for characters are never displayed or announced, other than the general 9am to 6pm...Disney doesn't post characters times (specific) in case something happens and they can't keep the schedule.
What Kenny does is ask character CM, some of them will be nice enough to tell you (so and so meet from 8:15am to 8:45am) he also just sits next to the meets and records the times they come out and go back in.

Thank you to everyone who has made this thread so wonderful. My DS11 and I will b doing our first SWW at the end of May and this has helped me learn all the characters and more about the weekend. My DS11 knows all the movies and the show by heart and I'm so glad that we r able to go. Now hopefully I can get as excited has him for this event. Although I am excited just to c how happy he will get.
Thank you again for all the wonderful tips and tricks. if anyone has any helpful hints I would luv to know them.

Does anyone know if the times for SW character meet and greets will show up on MDE? Since they are limited time characters I didn't know if it would be in the app or not like other character times are.

I really doubt it. They were not on the disney parks ap in previous years. Plus, in some of the lines the characters can change every 15 minutes or so. You'll figure the timing out. Some CMs are so helpful and will pull out there little slips of pencil and paper schedules and share them with you, others will act like it is top secret confidential information, but you'll figure it out.

They've been pretty stable for years, but there can always be changes. Like a couple of years they started putting Luke and Leah and the droids in the merchandise tent instead of star tours line. But for the most part I'd be shocked if much changed.

its a hard call because they alternate the e-woks with chewie and the droids with Luke and Leia. Maybe they'll freeze him in carbonite and stand him up by Boba Fett.

Any ideas on what ages need tickets for the rebels event? The girls and daughters will be at a princess event but the boys aged 2 and 3 will be with us. Can they get in free? Silly to buy them tickets for the event

I'm guessing that kids under 3 are free as in any of the WDW tickets
