Awesome morning! Park opened 730 Vader out at 8 then saw maul then Jango. Boba delayed bcause he was on main stage- pointed to DGrD in her Boba dress and called her friend. Made her day. Lol
Had quick bfast at starring rolls now in 15 min line for chip dale.
Lines not bad at all yet. Meeting lots of wonderful DISers in the early lines!

So I just got back from 8 days at WDW. I went to SWW for 2 days. The Opening Friday, and then we went back Saturday.

Just wanted to say THANKS for the report! Really enjoyed reading about your experience. Can't wait until next week!

By the posts it looks like they opened around 7:30am. Maybe a bit earlier
The stormtrooper show is done right after they let people thru the turnstiles, so they can be at the roped off area (corner of Hollywood and Vine) when they start.

If we're willing to be on the sunny side of the street, what time do we need to line up for the parade to be second row or so? Easy WDW posted photos of essentially mass chaos before the parade, but that was on the first day. I'm wondering if it's calmed down at all.

BTW we got in line for JTA at 8:10 and got 3pm after ~45 min wait

Are Saturdays typically busier than Fridays? If so, I'd like to see these reports again tomorrow...we won't be getting down until Friday late morning, so Saturday is going to be the "wake up early and stand in line" day...

Have TSM, RnR and ToT all been operational for the 7:30 am openings for SWW?

Last week they were up and running when we walked in, I walked past TSM before getting in line for Vader and it was open with a 5min, wait. DS went to ToT and RnRC and they were open.

Saturdays tend to be busier but there isn't a big difference...the lines people are experiencing today might be because of the 24 hour thing at MK...just be prepared for crowds, have patience, hydrate and you'll be fine. Have fun!!

This is my thought exactly. I think the crowds all this weekend are going to be skewed because of this.

Do you mean 10am? The parade starts at 11, right? And I know the sun will be brutal, but we're Floridians who spend a ton of time in the Florida sun on the soccer field sidelines, so we're broken in. It would be more brutal to try to get DS7 and DS5 to sit and wait any longer than necessary.

Sorry, thought of another question.

If we are there at rope drop, sign kids up for PMC first thing (while DH runs for TSMM fastpasses) then immediately get in the Fab 4 line, how long will the wait be? Which of the Fab 4 will be out for that first session? Is there any consistency? DS11 really wants to get a photo with Stormtrooper Donald, but doesn't much care about the others.

I can't answer for this year, but last year it seemed like Jedi Mickey and Leia Minnie rotated a couple of times before Goofy/Donald game out. (I am hoping Kenny or someone can confirm that schedule a little better after this weekend).

I would go to Chewbacca first if it was me.
