Going again this year for the last weekend! Can't wait!!
Anyone hear anything about Freeze Me on Carbonite this year?
Are you talking about the celebrity fast passes or the attraction fast passes?
Celebrity FP typically start early. I had mine in hand around 7AM and was in the park just after 7:30.
The attraction FP distribution starts while you are signing up for JTA.
Yes I was talking about the celbrities...that is what I thought so thanks for confirming...looks like we will be there early to get fastpass...then off to sign up DS for Jedi training...while other adult gets fastpass for TSM![]()
Not sure if you read this earlier in the thread or not. They have done two "levels" of JTA at once last year during SWW. They had Darth Vader on the stage with kids, and another group of kids on the ground with either Ventress or Maul? (someone correct me about that if I'm wrong. We didn't watch any JTA during SWW.) You cannot chose where your child goes, it's chosen for him/her.
If you want your child to battle on the stage for sure, the best bet is to go to DHS during the week rather than during a SWW.
If I remember, I think you said on another thread that your child is 5. I think they do put the smaller kids on the stage during SWW. (Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong.)[/QUOTE]
Correct on both statements. I would just add that it's easier to sign up for JTA during a non SWW day and it's basically the same experience since last year they stopped giving a small toy to kids that did JTA during SWW.

Thanks for the info...I know DS would want to battle Darth Vador...but he has his heart set on doing JTA on our first day (the next time we go to disney since he doesnt know about this trip we just talk about next time lol) and our first park day is June 8 which is sat of star wars weekend. We are probably going to hit DHS on Sunday too (unless we have done everything we wanted to do on sat) so we probably wont be going back to DHS again during the week (we wont have Hoppers or else I would do this)...
He is 5...but will be 6 on the trip but also is a small kid so hopefully he will go on stage.

Imagine my surprise when they put the big kids on stage and the smaller ones on the ground. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't think size matters. It may change from one show to the next. Regardless, I think your son will enjoy it.

Thanks. He has actually never seen the JTA show before so not sure he knows exactly what to expect so that might help. He will probably just be happy to fight with a light sabor lol...
And we will be going sunday too so we can always try again.
You can show him videos on youtube so he knows what to expect. They also offer build your own light saber, so he can make his own. They offer it at Tattoine Traders (Star Tours Gift Shop) The Merchandise Tent for SWW will probably have it, at DTD in Once Upon a Toy Store and at MK inside the gift shop in Tomorrowland (forgot the name)
IMO doing it on arrival day at DTD is a super idea. I'd expect a massive crowd of kiddos trying to do it at SWW. It took mine about 38 years (ok, it seemed like it, anyway LOL) to try to decide which parts they wanted anyway, on an uncrowded evening!
Does anyone have some insight on which day may be less crowded (I know that's all relative) Friday, May 24th or Sunday, May 26th? I would have thought that Friday would generally be less crowded than a weekend day, but Josh at easywdw.com recommends going on Sunday, saying that of the three days Sunday should be the least crowded.
Also, do you think that DHS requires a second non-SWW day in order to get most regular DHS things done. I'm thinking a half day on our arrival. The thing is that on that day (Thursday, 5/23) DHS closes at 6pm, and we probably couldn't get there much before 2pm. Not sure if it's worth it?![]()
