This will be my first Star Wars Weekend! :)

I have a question about character autographs and Fastpasses. Everything I see online says "Only one Fastpass/Autograph per guest". Does that mean that you can only get the autograph from one actor.... or does it just mean that you can only get one Fastpass/Autograph per actor? In other words, is it possible to get Fastpasses to see more than one of the celebrities there?

It is, but can be tough. Many groups split up in the different FP lines for the most popular actors. This way the group, usually a family, can get multiple actors the same day. Only the person with the FP can enter the actor's line. These FP lines form early in the morning.

There was one day we saw more than one. We split us as mesaboy mentioned. Dh and DS got in line for Michonne Bourriague's fast pass and I got in line for James Arnold Taylor's. DH got ambitious and stood in stand-by for two hours and was able to see Nikka Futterman.

Only the person with the FP/wristband is allowed in the queue. So if you have a child with a FP for an actor and the parents do not have a FP, they will not be allowed in the line. But you can stand outside the queue and keep an eye on the child.

Wow, so THIS might be an important thread in my life. :) Although I like Star Wars a typical amount, my sister, nephew, brother in law, and soon to be husband are pretty much fanatics.

Coincidentally, I'm trying to confirm my Disney wedding for the weekend of May 31, 2013. This would please the aforementioned individuals tremendously (and may even sway some of my fellas friends to travel who otherwise would have skipped the trip).

My question to you, wise Star Wars Weekend veterans, is... are these events something that will take up the entire day? In other words, if someone is to participate in Star Wars weekend events, are there enough to keep them busy throughout a full day?

I wonder if I need to reconsider the wedding date and shift around timelines to make sure those who prefer Star Wars to me getting married can be present for both "events." Thanks in advance. PS, I'm sure my 9 year old nephew will ALSO send thanks your way if you can prevent him from missing any more of this than necessary... let's be real, probably my fella too!! :)

Yes. Even if they were to run out of SW stuff to do in a single day--which I doubt--there's still a decent theme park all around it. ;)

If they tour commando style they can get most of the SWW stuff done in a day or two. We went 3 weekends last year, and missed the parade each time because parade time was a good time to see characters with shorter lines.

What time is the Hyperspace Hoopla normally? Is it at 7pm or 8pm? In past years we have normally skipped this as our boys were too little, but this year I think they would really enjoy it.

I realize that it might be not be the same as last year, but I need an approximate time as I have to schedule our ADR's on Monday.

Thanks!

Last year it was at 8pm at the Sorcerers Hat Stage (SWW Event Stage). People would claim their spot very early. Once the show started parents often put children on their shoulder which blocked the view of many people behind. We avoided the madness and watched it on the Idol screen. Every one stayed sitting and it was perfect for viewing if you don't mind watching it on a screen.

Thanks you guys! That's definitely something to think about and I'm glad I thought to look into it before taking the planning to a hard, inked state with the wedding date. I'm excited for this too. Thanks!

I'm sure this has been asked, but is there usually Fantasmic on SWW? If so, is it possible to see it AND the Hoopla? My kids have still never seen F!--been rained out every attempt. But Hoopla is WAY more of a priority. (Wanna hear a secret?? I don't really like F! GASP!! Waaaay too long.). I LOL'ed like a maniac when I saw the YouTube of Hyperspace Greased Lightning.......giggling a little just thinking about it ;)

Last year the F! times and park hours were posted, then closer to SWW they changed and F! shows were added. It was possible to see both. I guess that closer to May we will see if shows are added or times change.

8 pm.

What time is the Legends of the Force Motorcade usually held?

In 2012 it was at 12:40pm, but I seem to recall it being earlier in previous years. I am having a hard time finding the times for 2011 and 2010.

Thanks!

We are probably going to be at WDW over a Star Wars Weekend for the first time. All the tips have been very helpful.

My daughter says she has heard something about not missing the Indiana Jones Stunt Show during SWW, but I can't find anything elsewhere about if anything really special happens at it then. Can anyone let me know if something happens then at Indiana Jones that we shouldn't miss?

thanks!

Hello! :goodvibes

DH has advised that I could go ahead and check out our costs to go down for SWW in 2013 (only 5 weeks after our April trip!!!)

The prices for us are looking great - awesome airfare!!! But, I am nervous to book because the dates are not certain. We are looking at the June 7-9 weekend....how much of a gamble would I be taking if I booked airfare for then??? :confused3

You'd be safe. :thumbsup2

I am so hoping they keep the dates similiar to last year. I have our hotel booked and just bought our plane tickets for May 17 and May 18.
